While creating the CTA's via rule and Playbook assigned to it and along with the check box checked to yes for "Do you want to execute the actions only when specified changes are made to the record?" in the process builder then the CTA's are not being updated for this scenario.

CTA's are not updating if below checkbox is checked.

Hi Prathap,

Can you provide more details on how and when you want to create CTA's. Also is there any reason for not using Rules Engine to achieve this ? (You can create CTAs with playbooks using Rules Engine?

Aditya,

Prathap's post is related to a previews post:

https://community.gainsight.com/conversations/suggestion-about-workarounds-to-create-cta-by-rule-with-a-specific-due-date-5bd096fae4b0cdf9644a1308

The reason why we need to have process builder running with the Rule Engine to create CTA is that in my company there are many use case that we need a specific Due Date.

So, the Process Builder changes the CTA's Due Date and Original Due Date after the rule executes.

But When the CTA has a Playbook set the process builder doesn't work.

Or regarding what Prathap said, when the criteria check is true (only when same fields change) the process builder doesn't work at all.

- Just for some context if we create the same CTA manually the process works.

If you could help with it would be great.

Thanks,
