I have created two new fields in MDA on the User Object. They are "Last Survey Date" and "Next Survey Date". The intent was to pull from the Survey Participant table to snag the most recent date the customer was sent a survey from us. I was then going to load that date to the "Last Survey Date" field. Finally, I would add X days to that date and post the new date to "Next Survey Date". The end result is knowing that a customer is not receiving a survey from us more frequently than X days apart. However, I am not seeing the option for the Users object when attempting to Load to MDA via a Bionic Rule. That object is just not listed when I attempt to add it and select the necessary fields. I read through https://support.gainsight.com/Product_Documentation/Data_Management_and_Integrations/Gainsight_Standard_Objects/Gainsight_User_Object, bu
Hello, Can you share more information on how Person integrates with SF? And if any enhancements have been made to this in the new beta for people mapping? Our team had originally explored Person however on testing found that information that is changed in a person's record, did not in fact write back to Salesforce. Can you confirm whether that was an existing limitation of the funtionality previously, and whether that is solved for in this beta with new enhancements to person?
HI GS Fam Looking into the potential rollout of Sponsor Tracking on the C and R260 level. Does anyone have any success stories with Sponsor Tracking? Anything that has worked and has not worked? Things to keep in mind? Does it add value to a CSM’s day to day? best practices y’all concocted? :) Thanks! Andor
We were previously able to upload our contacts in a CSV with custom fields and bulk upload changes via S3 to the contacts object on the Gainsight SFDC standalone enivronment. Since migrating to the NXT platform, Support confirmed that there is no ability to bulk upload changes to contacts in Company Person and therefore manually applying the changes via the UI with specific data changes is extremely cumbersome. Refer to #82945 for more details. Can we please raise an enhancement to this problem?
Hello, Not sure if this is a bug but we noticed that the photos of individuals build in an org chart, are not displaying their photos. Should these be pulling in from linkedin? After building my people map, i added the linkedin profile by coping and pasting and refreshed but there was no change. I also noticed when i went back to the "list" view that the linkedin profile did not write back and stick. So under the list view, i updated the same contact with that URL. The titles and roles were not appearing, so assume this is related to the linkedin profile being recognized? Lastly can you explain the difference betwee "Title" vs "role" - are these pulling directly from a source like linkedin? and whats the difference between two? For example if my contact is the president clinical operations on their linkedin profile is that considered title or role? Lastly the "manager" in the "list view" does that only pull from the direct reports
Summarizing feedback from CSMs and Account Executives who tested this feature: 1. You can update the linkedin profile on the list view or hierarchy view by manually putting in the URL. If this feature integrated with sponsor tracking and automatically populated that information in that would be helpful to reduce administrative burden. Can you confirm whether this area speaks/writes back to each other if the contact you are adding to the person beta, is also someone who already is listed in sponsor tracking and has their linkedin profile associated 2. When you manually add the linkedin profile to the org chart/people map, it doesnt appear to write back to the list view. We had to go to the list view and manually add it there. 3. The difference between title and role is unclear in terms of where exactly that inforamation pulls from. We associated linkedin profiles to our contacts in people maps, and neither title or role populated in the hierarchy view or the list view 4. It would
My organization is wanting to implement sponsor tracking. I understand that sponsor tracking allows us to receive notifications, CTAs, and create reports on activities of these sponsors, such as moving roles or companies, but what other ways can we utilize sponsor tracking? For example, will sponsor tracking integrate with the new org. chart feature? Are there other ways your company is using sponsor tracking?
I could be missing how to do this in the documentation, but struggling to see how to load to the person object through a rule. My end goal is to actually load to the company person object, but from everything I can see, the Person ID is required to do that. I don't see a rule action or ability through S3 to load to the person object. Documentation seems to make it sound possible but I'm not seeing the ability in the load to company person object. Any help would be appreciated!
I figured it would be best to consolidate a list of feedback/requests from our org in one forum. Please let me know if others find these requests useful, or if they will be worked on 1) (FR) We would find it useful if we could use a field to map one or more Companies to a person in this section. This may be difficult, but we have customer users that have worked for different companies that we'd like to show. 2) (FR) We'd like to be able to see multiple orgs in a single view; i.e. show two hierarchies for groups working with product A and B on the same page 3) (Question) Will dragging capabilities only be available in NXT? 4)(FR) Can we create labels for each heirarchy? I.e. name of the product/use case they are working with Thanks!
Hello, Can you please share the roadmap for how the new Person/People Mapping feature will exist with Sponsor Tracking in the 360? Will both continue to exist? It seems like Person/People will solve for many enhancement requests that were originally requested under sponsor tracking, so was unsure if Sponsor Tracking will still remain and how it is intended to be used in conjunction with the now new Person Funtionality available? If they continue to both exist, what are the main differences between the two? - My understanding from researching sponsor tracking is it has the ability to generate a CTA when there is a change inthe sponsor, and so that is a unique feature that will not exist with Person/People map, although both can link to the linkedin profile? - Sponsor tracking also is limited to tracking SFDC Contacts only, whereas Person allows you to add external contacts that are not dependent on SF. - Sponsor tracking also integrates with Journey Orchestrator, whereas person
The majority of our employees do not have access to Salesforce/Gainsight, and we use the Users object to map them. This allows us to share dashboards and share360 objects easily, as well as reference them in reports and timeline entries for their clients. However, every person needs to be added & disabled manually, requiring our Gainsight admin team to regularly maintain this list. Instead, if the Rules Engine could insert/upsert or the Connector tool could map to the User object, this could be handled automatically.
We have just launched the Person object - very excited about this and more features coming soon! Is there currently a way to be able to assign multiple relationships to each contact? We also have Relationships live in each C360 and I would like our CSMs to be able to assign different relationships to each contact. For example: Customer ABC has three R360s - Blue, Green and Red John works for ABC but he is only involved in Blue and Green, never Red. Is it possible to add a field in Person section in C360 that would allow to select the two relationships and assign them to John? Our R360s refresh on daily basis so aren't a static list, at the same time we have over 500 relationships so I would like to be able to have a drop-down list for CSM to use, rather than typing the actual names/relationship IDs directly. The main objectives of this are: - ability to see which contacts belong to which relationships - something we don't have yet - direct various datasets
Hi Everyone, I would like to join a custom object to the standard company object, so I can use the company's object fields in a report. Also, I tried to "enable lookup" the field that I want to use in the report, but I can't find the custom object, see attached screenshot. I ́ve created a MDA object, populate it with Bulk API and now i want to create CTAs from it using Rules Engine but i can ́t because "Only few Action types are available as Account lookup fields are not used in the task." I edited my object to add a field with lookup enabled But nothing changed on setup rule And setup action keeps the same message =/ So, how can i enable all action types on my MDA object? When i ́m creating a job i have two options of separator: Comma and semicolon, but i can only fetch the mappings with a CSV file using comma. What's the best way to populate the Manager field in the User standard MDA object? It's a GSID field type so I can't just populate it with the manager's SFDC ID. I was thinking of using a bionic rule to merge the manager's GSID with the CSM's GSID... is there a better way?
