Survey response follow up based on calculated field

Right now in the survey model you can only use a calculated field in a conditional wait after the responded check(img for reference).
And the conditional wait in a survey program model is only dependant on the days e.g send follow up 2 days later if no response.
Is it on the road map to be able to use calculated fields in that conditional wait before the survey response? Or is the answer to allow surveys in an email chain?

It would be nice to have an option to insert a short survey within the same email/program to give users the option to let us have feedback why they stopped using our product in the first place – maybe lack of training? Currently we send out this survey as a separate program only after they have gone through the 1st one and did not re-engage – having the option to include both Survey and the Conditional wait in one program would cut down on comms.
