Email frequency safeguards

Some other tools have global settings that allow you to indicate the maximum number of emails a single contact should get within a chosen time period, like a month. They can also be used for preventing a single user from getting multiple emails in the same day. 

 

This would be useful for us in Gainsight for Journey Orchestrator emails. We have ongoing lifecycle campaigns that trigger at unique times based on the company’s stage, days to renewal, etc. We also have one-off campaigns like newsletters and educational webinar promos. Ideally, we would be able to set restrictions in Gainsight to prevent anyone from getting a lifecycle email and a one-off email on the same day and set a maximum per month. With a lot of programs running, it’s difficult to do this effectively in the query.
