This is more of a general question - "Please select at least one non-aggregated field of type String" pops up when like it says, you don't have a string field in the show section of a rule. Why is a string needed? Typically it is doable to get a string, often times through the Company standard object, but could be misleading to new users.

I just pull a NULL string that I created on the Customer Info object into this so it's pretty easy to work around. But I agree that it's odd.
(That value also comes in handy when you need to clear out an existing value when loading through a rule!)

This is a restriction in constructing a SOQL query from our framework. Ideally, We should not have this restriction on any MDA objects. Let me check on that.
This is fixed and should be part of this Spring release. Please let us know if you still face any issue
