Do customers see Timeline content (whether automatically or as an option)

We are looking to use Timeline an want to confirm capabilities.  Can we push a Timeline log, such as logging an email, to a customer or is Timeline content only meant for internal notations.

Do you want to share the timeline activity with the customer (e.g. sharing minutes of the meeting) or do you want to give the capability to the customer to push email as a timeline activity?

Hello Nitisha, no, I plan on having our team only use Timeline as internal notes and not customer facing.  I wouldn't mind having an option of specified "customer facing notes" though so long as it is clear and concise so that only that which is intended is shared with the customers.  



As for email inserted into Timelines, I would love the ability to choose if an email is to be inserted.  I would love to click a button and have it inserted into a timeline but only if I think it is pertinent.  I don't think I would want a customer to be able to choose to insert anything into Timelines. 🙂  Thanks Nitisha.
