One of the most common requests from our CSMs is to enable People Maps at the relationship level, not just the company level. There are several reasons for this given the size of the organizations and complexity of the organizations we serve. The relationship model does a good job in helping us understand those relationships much better, but the short coming of People Maps not extending into Relationships makes it difficult to visualize in terms of decision makers and influencers at the relationship level.
I envisage it like this. A CSM would build their People Map at one of their relationships. It would be nice if that People Map were also available at the C360 level to enfold into any Organization Maps that exist. Or as an alternative, leave it as a listed People Map at the company level. There could be many of these.
