Email Template - Mapping

You’ll add the tokens in the Email Templates area, but you’ll map the tokens to a field inside your Program. To add a complicating wrinkle, there is a Default Mapping configuration for each token that’s configured within Email Templates, but that configuration is used only for Email Assist, where you send emails from Cockpit. If you are using the Email Template in a JO Program, then you must complete the mapping of a data field to the token inside your JO Program.

Email Templates

• Create / add tokens
• Format the data displayed inside the token with bold, italics, color, etc.
• Change the Display Name for the token (optional, but a best practice)
• Provide a Default Value, for scenarios where the mapped field provided in Programs is empty
• Provide a default mapping (for use with Email Assist, or sending emails from Cockpit)
• Designate field type
