Filtering Reports Limitation

The number of filters you can use in Gainsight during your report creation is up to 23 rows - All letter from alphabet. This is too less. We should be able to add as many options as we want. 

While I agree with you. One work around I’ve done before to get over this blocker is doing the filter logic in a rule.

 

  • You build a rule and in different tasks you filter for each condition you can have.
  • So 1 task if record = A and B and C and D
  • task 2 if record = b and E and F
  • etc
  • Then you label those records with a new column “Condition 1”, “Condition 2”, etc depending on which task it falls in
  • Then in the report you filter for that new condition column instead.

Not an idea solution. However, Ive seen this limitation since the begining of my GS career in 2015 so I dont think it is something that will change soon.
