Ability to have multiple selection of activity types for emails logged to timeline

We have an activity of Monthly Outreach that we log for customers, often it is an email that we send. If we use the email to timeline we cannot designate that as an activity of Monthly Outreach too. Could it be possible to have multiple activities tied to one timeline entry?

We don't have plans to have multiple activity types for an activity. Though, we have plans to give the capability to change activity type. So, in future, you will be able to change the type from 'Email' to 'Monthly Outreach'. Would that help?
