Hello!
We are looking to lock the CTA’s down to only have the CTA owner or anyone with a managers attribute to be able to close the CTA.
Is there an easy way to accomplish this that anyone else has employed?

+1. Nice to provide an option to close the CTA to whom it was assigned.
This would be a phenomenal Sharing Setting and permission combo!
Hi@sai_ram -
We would like to only allow the CTA owner to close the CTA unless they are a manager or higher - then we want them to be able to close any CTA. The issue we are solving for is that we had CTA’s incorrectly closed on some of our largest and most strategic customers by users that weren’t on the account therefore some additional security is desired.
At the moment in Gainsight, you can create a rule to notify someone when the person who closed the CTA doesn’t match the assignee or the CSM listed on the account. There is an Owner field and a Modified Field that could be used to cross check. If these two don’t equal, you could present the “bad” CTA closures in a report or send a notification to someone.
Longer term, I do agree that creating a setting for this to eliminate this from happening would be ideal. Hopefully the above gives you a solution idea in the meantime.
I’m sure this would be a fine feature option but at this point it doesn’t crack my top 20.
Same boat as@darkknight . We’ll get there though.
Thanks for the details. This is currently not in our road-map, we will consider this based upon other customer interest. Thanks once again!
@All, please up-vote if you are interested.
