Currently, the failure/success email notification goes right into the Configure window of the Design. The whole purpose of the email is to identify the execution, so it should go directly to the execution history. Since the history log access lives outside of the design also, the current workflow just leads to extra unnecessary clicks.
It would be as if the Rules notification sent us to Setup Rule instead of execution history.

Ours still goes to direct login despite us logging in through Salesforce...
so the email is pretty useless
