Account Fields not being pulled into an Opportunity Rule

Previously, I have used an Opportunity rule that pulls fields from the Account and Opportunity to update some Opportunity-level fields. This has worked previously without issue.

Since the 5.5 release, I cannot seem to pull any Account fields into the Opportunity rule. They simply do not display data. I can pull the same fields on an Account rule and they show the correct data. I can also recreate the same concept in a Salesforce report and the data displays.

Anyone else seeing this issue with Opportunity rules?

Hey Ben:

Do you have multiple Account lookups to the Account on the Opportunity?  Sounds like it's possible that the lookup value is defaulting to the wrong one in the rule.

Hey Scott,

Thanks for the quick reply. I do see multiple "Account ID" options in the lookup at the bottom of the rule setup. One of the options results in the behavior described above. the other results in this error:

So not sure what that exactly means. Thanks!

I ran into this issue yesterday.

While the preview rule does not display data, it still processes the data.

If you go to run a test result and look at the CSV, that gets emailed to you, it displays the data there.

I believe this is known issue that support is aware of.
