Associate tasks to existing CTAs when creating a task within a timeline activity

Right now all tasks created within timeline activities create a new CTA called “to do: activity name”. Sometimes these tasks are related to existing CTAs and we’d like the ability to put those tasks under the relevant CTAs instead of creating a new one.

What this would look like is that when naming the due date and owner, we could also just name the CTA (if one already exists already) that the tasks should be created under.

It would be nice if the CTAs within that company/relationship were already there as a picklist instead of having to search for it by name.

This was just brought up by a group of my end users as well.  We are REALLY trying to get our users to adopt Success Plans, and the ability to take a new Task being documented in a Timeline Activity for a meeting, and CREATE the TASK under an existing OBJECTIVE or CTA would be HUGE!  Otherwise, they have to make the Task, let the Timeline Entry build a NEW CTA every time, and then go and re-enter the same information from within the Objective where they want the task, then close out the CTA/Objective and Tasks, when they haven’t really been completed, just re-documented somewhere else!

Since the Timeline is ALREADY associated with the Company, the list of available CTAs for the customer should be fairly easy to list.
