Report on templates used in email assist playbook tasks

Related products: None

We would like to be able to pull a report to see which email templates are being used as email assist tasks within playbooks. I got as far as filtering for "Email" playbook tasks and including the playbook name, but I am still missing the info on which email template in particular is used. Is this possible?

Hi Margaret,

Email template name information is not reportable as of now but we are planning to add an enhancement to export a list of playbooks and its attributes. Email template name will be available post this enhancement. ETA tentatively summer release.

Thanks,

Nitisha
Hi,

Sorry to inform that building a report to see which email templates are being used (as email assist tasks within playbooks) is not possible. Since the tasks are saved in SFDC object and email templates are saved in MDA object but not exposed in Report Builder.

Thanks,

-Sairam

hi team, is there an update on this with the move to NXT? it would be very beneficial to be able to *all* dependencies of email templates, especially so that once an email template is changed, the administrator can know which Playbooks to go into to refresh the template.

Can we get an update on this use case? It looks like we can’t even use the “used in” feature on the Email Templates screen. That appears to only show where templates are used in Programs, not in Playbooks.

At the very least, we should be able to see when templates are used in Playbooks too, but ideally we should be able to report on this, especially now that the MDA/SFDC discrepancy is no longer an excuse in NXT.

@PavanCh would you be able to throw some light here?

+1 on this. We’d like to see if our team are using the templates through their CTAs.

Hey Team, this came up again in a discussion today. Any ideas where we are on this request?
