This post fits squarely into the category of “Improving Admin Quality of Life.”
Ever since the MDA was upgraded, manually deleting data from an MDA object takes infinitely longer than it used to. It used to take a matter of seconds. Now it seems to take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours, and it doesn’t seem to matter whether I’m deleting 10,000+ rows of data or just a single row.
Why is this? And at the very least, can we get some visibility into the execution history of these tasks? I’m currently trying to delete a single customer record from the Company object in our sandbox and have been waiting 45 minutes and counting for it to finish. There is zero data (timeline entries, CTAs, etc.) associated with it.
