It would be great if there will be an ability to sort a Group By Report manual instead of the current options to sort only ASC and DESC for a field

We have a dropdown list that has custom sort (not A-Z or Z-A) in the Data management > Dropdown list.@ddietiker @Ravinder Singh
We created a report to group by this dropdown list field used in Company object. When we choose asc/desc sort, the sort only honors A-Z or Z-A. It does not honor the custom sort of the dropdown configuration. If we could have reporting honor the custom sort configured and allow additional sorting within reporting tool would be helpful.
SFDC report allows the sorting to default to the picklist sort. And we had to rely on SFDC report or we have to change names with numeric prefixes which did not resonate well with our team.
