When using single select and multiple select dropdown questions, especially with very long data sets (that we have to create from scratch instead of being able to link to dropdowns from data management: Make data management dropdowns available from surveys | Gainsight Community) for example, a list of countries), it’d be very useful it the respondent could search for their choice of answer with a clear search box (similar to excel column headers). Typing the desired characters in the field area is not overly intuitive.
It would work better if the multi-select dropdown offered checkboxes like the above. It would also be more intuitive for respondents as none of the questions offer tooltips for this purpose.
