CAST String to Number in Bionic RuleAcknowledged
Would it be possible to add the CAST function to transformation tasks in Bionic Rules? Example: Customer has a CSAT in SFDC but is stored as a String rather than Number. In order to calculate anything off of this, I have to load to the MDA using 10 Actions in a Rule since I cannot load a String to a Number field in the MDA. I would like to be able to convert these to numbers in a Transformation task. Thoughts?
Do we have the functionality to clone Dataset tasks on the roadmap? I often have rules where I'm creating multiple dataset fetch tasks where the only difference is in the date filter. It would be nice to be able to clone these and change the dates rather than rebuilding 10+ tasks with only one field difference.
Low Volume MDA object on C360 - Person Lookup fields show the Person's ID rather than their nameWorkaround Available
I’ve setup a C360 section based on a custom Low Volume object. I’ve added various fields to be filled out including a few Person lookups. I have discovered that you are able to search by the person’s name when creating records, but when you save the record it will then only display the Person’s GSID. Field config: Create record view: Edit/View record view: This seems like it would be pretty basic functionality to use Person lookups in Low Volume object. Has anyone else ran into this issue before? If so, did you find a workaround outside of loading over the name via the Rules Engine?
I am working with a customer to roll out success plans. They have discovered that the Objective CTAs show up in cockpit inherently. Could we add a global filter to exclude these from Cockpit from the admin section? They are concerned about all of their users having to create custom views to exclude the objective CTAs. Another solution(under consideration - https://community.gainsight.com/gainsight/topics/global-filters-for-cockpit) could solve this issue if we allowed Admins to push out views to all users.
Add Automated/Manual field to Customer StagesResponse from Customer
We have some of our customer stage changes automated via rule in GonG. We'd like to be able to prevent users from being able to manually update to the stages that we have automated. Ideally you would be able to mark if they're automated vs manual in the Stage Config section and automated stages would not show up as an option when manually changing the stage.
Webhook Bionic Rules NotificationsNot Planned
Could we extend the Webhook notifications from the S3 connector to the Rules Engine? We manage a lot of rules in GonG and an email for each rule is too much to manage. Ideally we'd like to be able to call an HTTP request to log these into Slack or any other notification/webhook tool.
Allow multiple Relationship C360 sections on one layout and select Relationship types for each sectiImplemented
We're discussing rolling out some additional Relationship types in Gainsight and would like to be able to have a separate C360 section for each one of our Relationship types. We're currently using Relationships for Projects and will potentially be adding a Product Relationship type. It would be much more user friendly to be able to have separate Projects and Product C360 sections. Ideally you should be able to add multiple sections and select what relationship types load into each section.
Run test rules in a separate queue than live rule runsResponse from Customer
When running a test rule there should be no conflict with live production rule runs. I know we implemented prioritizing manual rule runs, but when they're manual and test runs shouldn't we be able to immediately execute the rule? I often have to wait 10-15 minutes for a rule chain to run just for me to test run a rule that isn't actually conflicting with anything else.
Could we add two additional filters to the new rules engine filtering? - Add a true-false filter for 'is scheduled' - When the filter for Set Score 2.0 is enabled, could we allow the user to select what measure is set? GonG has almost 100 Set Score rules and it is very hard to find what rules are setting specific measures. Thanks!
Could we add functionality to allow users to add fields to the Company object from within Gainsight Connect? I have a bunch of custom fields I have to create on the Company object and this requires me to go into Data Management and manually create them all before going back into Gainsight Connect to map them. It would be nice if we could create a UI within Gainsight Connect to create them on the fly when setting up the mapping.
I am assuming we are using the same framework for the Advanced Outreach Query builder that is being used for Bionic Rules, it would be nice if we could create a query for AO by selecting a Bionic Rule. I have a few scenarios where I'm creating an AO and a CTA with the exact same data set. It would be nice to copy the data set from the Bionic Rule to save time.
Text Concatenation in Transform TaskImplemented
I believe this may have been mentioned before but I was unable to find a community post for it. I very often need to concatenate fields together when updating or creating records in Bionic Rules. I would like the funcationality to be able to concatenate fields together as well as concatenate a field with a static text value. Example: I am creating opportunities for one customer and they want the Opportunity name to be *Account Name* - Renewal - *Year*. Currently, I have to force them to create a formula field on the source object that derives the text in this format. It would be nice to use transform tasks in bionic rules to create these fields. Is this on the roadmap? Thanks!
Email Assist Auto Populate RecipientNo Status
I love that we can now populate recipient that are contacts in email assist, but I feel like we've left out a vital piece. I have multiple customers who use email assist for internal emails and would like to also have the functionality to auto populate the recipients(in this case, a user rather than a contact). Would it also be possible to hard code an internal user as CC or BCC on email assist emails? Thanks!
Standard Fields for Tokens in OutreachesImplemented
Would it be possible for us to have standard fields as options when mapping tokens in Co-pilot Outreaches? My examples would be dates but its possible there are others. Some emails need to specify the date that the Outreach was triggered. We could accomplish this if we could map 'run date' (with formatting options that would allow us to do full the date format or Day, Month or Year individually.
Adding Timeline SubtypesImplemented
I am working to roll out Timeline with a customer and they would like to add subtypes to timeline activity types. For instance when they add meetings, they would like to know what type of meeting it is(for reporting purposes)Example: CSA Meeting. Do we have any plans to add this functionality to expand the activity types?
Removing Fields from Bionic RulesUnder Consideration
I just ran into a scenario where I had to change a field that was selected in a bionic rule after the rule had already been created. All I needed to do was remove a field and add a different one. This required me to: Remove field from action. Remove field from 2 Merges. Remove field from 'Show field' from original dataset. Add new field to 'Show Field'. Add new field to 2 merges. Add new field to action. This seems like a LOT of work just to change one field. I understand that I would be required to add the new field throughout, but could we allow a user to remove a field from the 'Show Field' section and then state ' This field will be removed from the following sections'? This would drastically reduce the number of steps needed to complete this action. Open to other suggestions but this seemed very cumbersome/confusing. Thanks!
Report Group by Date AggregationNot Planned
I have a report that is setup to do grouping by date and aggregate to week. Shouldn't the date that it is showing in the grouping be either the first day or last day of their 'week' from their usage configuration? You can see here the report is showing Monday as the day when I am expecting either Sunday(beginning of week from their usage configuration) or Saturday(last day in the week). I could not find the logic being this in the support documentation for this feature: https://support.gainsight.com/Product_Documentation/Reports_and_Dashboards/Admin_Configuration/Repor... Thanks!
Defaulting the cursor in pop-up search boxesUnder Consideration
I've noticed that when we have pop-up windows with a search box we do not default the cursor to that box. This causes an extra click every time I open one of the boxes. If I click a field that will have a pick list and search box, I would like to immediately begin typing to search for my item. Once I have typed it and the name is the same, I should be able to hit enter and select it.
