I have often come across a Use Case where duplicate Users show up in search while applying filters in Dashboards or selecting names for some dropdown fields. This is because we get to see inactive users as well. Can we have roadmap/workaround to avoid ambiguity in such cases?
I have come across customers who want to Personalise their Home experience by updating ‘Summary’ ribbon. For now, the functionality is that either we remove entire section or add it. However, there are customers that have different teams using GS Home. They would like to have the flexibility to edit the standard ribbons. Any plans to have this functionality?
Couple of my customers have business use cases where they want to have nested objectives under main objective in SPs. They tried implementing one SP with high-level objectives and listed the sub-objectives under tasks; but this structure wasn't suitable for them and could not be utilised efficiently. Therefore, they had to create multiple SP to track one program. Can we expect any SP functionality that gives a nested structure to objectives?
Restrict license deploymentPlanned
Is there a way to limit the licenses for customers in User Management? I do see a common use case around GS license deployment with my customers. We do not have any mechanism to restrict the customers from deploying licenses more than they have purchased. Few of the customers bought viewer licenses but deployed them as full licenses for a significant amount of time until we checked. It would be good to have a check/pop up displayed when they exceed the number of licenses they deploy and if possible - by type.
It would be great if we have functionality to edit drill down field labels in Reports. I would like to give a common use case with reference to this :When we chose field names like ‘Name’ from several drill down fields, it is difficult for end user to understand whether it’s a CSM/Owner/Manager Name.
Maintain logs for deleted assetsUnder Consideration
I come across a scenario many times while handling multiple accounts. We login to the Customer Orgs through LMA at times; there are situations where assets like Reports/Rules have been deleted/modified. It’s a difficult situation to track down the missing assets. It might take time till we have logs for everything in place but for now atleast we can have it for deleted assets. This avoids confusion and saves time!
Multiple owners for CTANot Planned
I have often come across Customer asks - If they can assign a CTA to more than one owner? At times more than one team are involved during customer journey and even though the playbook tasks can be assigned to different owners but also CTAs need to have more than one owner from respective teams. Is there any roadmap for this in near future?
Calculated fields should have MOD operatorAcknowledged
I have come across a scenario often, where we have requirement to upgrade formula fields in SFDC and to the NXT. Calculations have simple logic that can be easily adjusted by use of MOD operator. Since, MOD is not available neither in Data Management > Calculated fields nor in Rules Engine > Numeric functions ; it makes the task tedious to create a rule with numerous tasks. If we have MOD operator at least in Calculated fields, it would save us from creating rules or have many tasks in rule to accomplish the requirement of formula field/any other calculation.
Date difference should also have an option to exclude weekendsWorkaround Available
I have often come across Customer Use cases where in they want to calculate fields like ‘Ticket Age’ or want to see only business days in date difference calculations. Is there any plan to have this functionality in near future?
When we export Gainsight analyzer report, for Reports that are created on Dataspace, we see source object name as API names of corresponding objects, that DS has been created on; and not the DS names. There are cases where more than one DS is created on one object. Can we please have the DS names instead of DS source object API names?
