@richa_bala  News on this?Much needed and is a base feature of practically every other survey tool out there… with all the different ways to write dates globally, a string field just DOES NOT suffice and would render it impossible to actually collect dates in a usable way. Upgrade dates, last upgrade date, migration date… literally every date related info must be collected as a date question type.

Enable GSID as a possible search criteriaNo Status

None of these answers addresses the issue at hand so leaving this open until someone tells us why it’s not possible or why Gainsight does not want to make companies searchable by GSID, when GSID IS the ID everything revolves around in your product. It just does NOT add up. . . . . . . . 😑

Tabular Reports in Journey OrchestratorPartially Fixed

These 20 x 5 limitations make this pretty useless. Either revamp the “success plan PPT reports” to broaden its use with an option NOT to break data down by company and just to embed reports into a PPT that can be sent out on a schedule (therefore removing the need to suffer the 20x5 issue), or remove limits on tabular reports in email body. Feature doesn’t fulfill its purpose currently.

How do you keep track of and record data on account changes (churns and transfers)?

Similar to @jason_metzler, we take daily company, company person and person snapshots for key fields (we capture a lot of values over time as we want to generate trends in more than one area), and it’s enabled reporting that spans your use case and beyond.We also have an automation that compares current and previous day values for CSM and flags assignment changes to Heads of CS via CTAs. You could do the same for status and compare the active, inactive, churn status over time. With snapshots, I’d say sky is the limit. Although, it does come with some overhead as whenever we add a new field, we have to consider the history objects, and the snapshot rules to update them (if it makes sense).

@keith_mattes - I’d vote up the ability to use Surveys within Email Chains in a heartbeat. I’ve encountered a number of use cases when including a Survey within an Email Chain (and not be constrained by the Survey-related Programs) would be ideal. 1000000% on this. Sometimes, the survey isn’t the main goal of the program… and we need the flexibility of email chains over the constraints of survey AOs.

I’d say user deletion is also required from a data protection perspective. Can’t justify holding onto leavers’ data forever. Just can’t.

Former web product owner and web manager here . In the web world, the rule is that the user should be able to choose when to open content in a new tab. That’s the accessibility best practice. If I may, here’s what the W3C says about opening links in new tabs:In general, it is better not to open new windows and tabs since they can be disorienting for people, especially people who have difficulty perceiving visual content. However there are some situations where it is preferable from an accessibility perspective to open a new window or tab. Here are two such situations: Opening a page containing context-sensitive information, such as help instructions, or an alternate means of completing a form, such as a calendar-based date picker, will significantly disrupt a multi-step workflow, such as filling in and submitting a form, if the page is opened in the same window or tab. Depencency checker is truly unusableNo Status

Hi @andutta, could you bring this to the attention of the PM in charge? I’m currently cleaning up legacy fields from multiple objects, and the way this tool works is hellish. I get it that it’s not game changing as feature, but I’m pretty sure this is a quick fix that would make dependency checker usable. Currently have to multiply the time it takes to check dependencies by the number of “sections”. It’s inefficient. And it cannot continue. Thank you.

Customer Feedback on Dependencies & Object Graph

Dependencies really needs to remember what field we’re looking at dependencies for FOR ALL tabs. It’s unusable otherwise. We can’t keep re-selecting the field we’re looking at to view rules dependencies, then report dependencies and then whatever other tab. It’s unusable. The summary needs to be shown on one page and it needs to remember what field we’re investigating.

@alizee.levavasseur ,  The general idea is to leave the allowed days configurable to the admin at a program level. This would allow the admin to set any day of a week as off day(s). Awesome, that’s perfect to enable true globalization/localization capabilities.

Hi @alizee.levavasseur  For these usecases, Data Designer is the ideal solution. Data Designer (FKA Bionic Reporting) allows you to dynamically build reports based on SFDC data and MDA data (Company ,etc.) after preparing the datasets.    Hi @rakesh, thank you for pointing my attention to this! I wasn’t aware of the feature and its capabilities, but it looks to do what I want/need to do! Thank you!

It’s been three years since the last update. We very much need this.Our use case is as follows:We don’t write opportunity data into GS but display SFDC object data in reports We need to aggregate opportunity data (from Salesforce) with company object data from Gainsight to create and deliver automated (and not ad-hoc) reports to Sales to flag a variety of account facts from a CS viewI’m reluctant to syncing opportunity data from SFDC to Gainsight just to achieve this.Please keep us posted with an ETA.

Creating timeline activity via rules?Acknowledged

On our end, our use cases are as follows:Be able to mark participation to a specific event (in our case, a product change advisory board) in bulk for all our participants instead of having to create the entry manually for all companies. Be able to mark key tech touch engagement completion such as onboarding automatically into timeline as they’re milestones in the customer journey (using the AO Participant object/AO Participant Failed object). Thanks for turning the ops dream into reality.
