Hi @kate_green and @dan_ahrens , The Solution that you proposed will not work. The merge will result in 3 different columns for "Score" and will not result in a single column. It will merge as follows: Another example: In the below case, I am trying to merge Account and Company on SFDC Account ID field. Both objects have a name field. When I try to merge them it gives me the following error: "Output field labels should be different". Please find attached the screenshot: Please let me know if I am wrong or missing anything. Hi Keith, I totally understand how difficult it can be when there are a lot of fields to be mapped. We have plans to enhance the UI for the field mapping screens . The timelines are not known yet. But good to hear, that we are moving in the right direction. Regards, Jitin
Although Min, Max formula functions across columns would be an ideal solution. We did not encounter this use case till now from any one. But agree that this should be an obvious one to add. An alternate solution to achieve this would be to use a case statement if there are only 3 such columns. (Not very good though). Case 1: ((A/B) > 1 AND (A/C) > 1) THEN A Case 2: ((B/A) > 1 AND (B/C) > 1) THEN B Case 3: ((C/B) > 1 AND (C/A) > 1) THEN C @kate_green Your proposed solution might not work as what you are suggesting is merging the datasets vertically (Union). We support only horizontal merge as of today in Bionic Rules.Merge will end up resulting in three different Score Name columns and not one column which accomodates all 3 names. Let me know if I am missing something.
Hi Kate, I tried the same in my test org and I am able to see the filters preview for dataset task with source as MDA. Are you getting the issue in SFDC edition or NXT? Hi Cameron, The renaming of the field in "Attribute" section is just limited to Attribute section itself. The other sections (eg. Summary) or any other are within the product will still show its original field name only. That is the reason you are not able to search by the name(which you changed in Attributes section) in C360 Summary. Let me know if that helps. Regards, Jitin
Hi Keith, I understand how painful it can be when there are a lot of fields which you are trying to map via Rules. How many fields do you have in the object that you are trying to load the data to? I will take this feedback and add this to the list of UX enhancements for our team. Thank you for the feedback. Regards, JItin
How can I make the due date of an upsell opp cta equal to the close date of the opportunity from whi
Hi Meenal, This can be accomplished via Bionic Rules as long as there is a reference of the triggering opportunity in the Upsell Opportunity CTA. Are you facing any issue with achieving this via Rules? Regards, Jitin
Call to Action widget report displays all categories even if the account doesn't have a CTA for that category. Not Planned
Hi Andrew, Thank you for the suggestion. I understand the problem where you see all categories on the widget even when there are no CTA's. As of now, we do not have any near term plans to change this, but I will keep you updated if we change it. Regards, Jitin
C360 specifically for widgets.Response from Customer
Hi Andrew, Good to hear that the Summary section of 360 and the widgets are being used so extensively. While we do not have any near term plans to add a separate section in C360 especially for the widgets, I would love to hear the kind of widgets, use cases which you felt they need to be shown on C360. Can you share some of them? Regards, Jitin
Account Hierarchy and Filtering AccountsImplemented
I recently started going through all community posts and came across this one. In Gainsight Nxt, equivalent of Account Hierarchy is Company Hierarchy. In Company Hierarchy, You can filter based on Customer status to view only those companies which belong to a particular status. Additionally, by default you will see only that company whose C360 you are viewing and its immediate children. All siblings will be visible in collapsed mode. Let me know if that helps.
Global replace for email addresses in rule execution settingsWorkaround Available
I recently started going through all the unanswered posts and came across this. As a best practice, entering a DL would be appropriate than sending the notifications to an individual admin. This should solve the problem in case an admin is not longer with the organisation. Let me know if this helps.
Email notifications for S3 drops should read betterDeprecation Planned
Hi Anthony, I would recommend using Rules engine to ingest data from S3 for a variety of advantages as listed below: Advantages of using Rules Engine for S3 ingest 1. Linking data ingest with the business processes: S3 Dataset task helps in performing business actions only after successful data ingest. E.g. If the file does not arrive on time, the rule will fail. 2. Eliminating the need for storing raw data - (a) If a customer has concerns over data-security and data-storage, they can just enable data for processing and create actions on top of it. (b) Ingest selective data and aggregate during ingest process itself: For example, if the CSV exports (in customer's bucket) has data for all page views, a business rule can filter data from this file using advanced logic. 3. Advanced lookup during ingest: The functions and merges in Bionic rules help in performing complex lookups and resolutions. E.g. resolving `Email Address -> Domain -> Account I
