Rules Engine Insert/Upsert or Connector Mapping to User Object

The majority of our employees do not have access to Salesforce/Gainsight, and we use the Users object to map them. This allows us to share dashboards and share360 objects easily, as well as reference them in reports and timeline entries for their clients. However, every person needs to be added & disabled manually, requiring our Gainsight admin team to regularly maintain this list.

Instead, if the Rules Engine could insert/upsert or the Connector tool could map to the User object, this could be handled automatically.

Hi Nathanael,

Where do your employee records reside currently? Are they in the Salesforce User object?

If so, we currently only users who have a Gainsight license assigned to them in Salesforce. We will however be enhancing the connector to allow you to sync unlicensed users from Salesforce as well. You can expect this within the next few months.

As a workaround, if you could export your users from Salesforce to a CSV, you can add them to Gainsight directly from that CSV.

Just navigate to User Management -> "+ User" -> CSV, and then follow instrcutions to add users via CSV.

Hope this helps! Let me know if this wasn't what you were looking for.

Thanks,

Kunal
