I created a new field on the account in Salesforce and I want to map it to a field in Gainsight.  How do I do that?

Hi Kara,

Do you want to load the data from Salesforce to Gainsight, or from Gainsight to Salesforce?

This should be doable via the Rules Engine. Here is a good KB for that topic: https://support.gainsight.com/Product_Documentation/Rules_Engine/Admin_Configuration/Use_Rules_to_Lo...
Yes, I saw that and was following the instructions, but when I get to the part about setting up the action I don't have any fields in the drop down on the right to associate to the fields I dragged into the Show area.

Totally. I've been there.

  1. Click the gear icon in the top right corner of your screen.
  2. Hit "Permissions - Rules Load Actions".
  3. On that page you'll need to pick the object you are working with (Accounts, Opportunities, etc.).
  4. Hit the plus icon to add the selected object
  5. Select the object you added in the list below.
  6. Now pick the fields you want to be able to load info to and add them to the column on the right.
Once that is done, go back to your rule and you should see the fields as loadable.
