Allow configured "Segments" to be used anywhere as a filter within PX, not just within the EngagemenAcknowledged
Posting this for several customers, since I believe this is a great feature request! ------------------ Currently, Segments can only be used for targeting Engagements through Audience Rules and not directly in Analytics. Because of this, customers must use/create custom filters that mirror their Segments to do something similar within Analytics. It would be great if including Segments criteria as an option everywhere that a filter could be used. PX: Calendar view of engagementsAcknowledged
Again, as we publish more and more engagements, it'd be really helpful if PX provided a calendar view of the live and scheduled engagements. This would help users identify potential conflicts and avoid over-messaging customers. Without it, we're looking to use Trello or an external calendar tool to manage and provide visibility into what other depts. are doing with engagements. It'd be great if we could manage the whole process directly in PX.
Track time on pageAcknowledged
Relatively simple request (though I’m sure not simple to implement ). As a product manager, I’d love to be able to use PX to track time spent on a page so that I can better understand on which pages my users are spending the most time. If this already exists, I’d love to find it. If not, I’d like to request this feature.
Custom Dashboards EnhancementsAcknowledged

It would be nice to have more control, either through allowing different shapes for the clickable area or using a CSS selector to identify the clickable area. Based on the current badge options, we have to use an image, either Gainsight’s icons or an uploaded one, and the clickable area is always round. I would like to trigger engagements via a badge from:An icon that’s added in our code, rather than Gainsight’s icons. Icon added in our code A text link that’s added in our code.| Text link For #1, my workaround is to upload a transparent image that I can position over our icon.Uploaded transparent image (border added to assist in positioning)For #2, I tried a workaround that Gainsight support suggested. I mapped the text link as a feature and then used that in the audience logic to trigger the guide automatically. This works but there’s a noticeable lag. Audience logic for mapped text link
Include an option to wait/delay the triggering of any PX Engagement based on elapsed time or # of completed events within the applicationAcknowledged
Posting on behalf of a customer… Use Case: It would be a better user experience if we could allow users to enter the application and do some of their important tasks before we start showing them any non-critical PX Engagements that they may be qualified to view. Potential Product Enhancement: Include an option to wait/delay the triggering of a PX Engagement so that users have time to do their necessary tasks in the application before being presented with any Engagements. There are (at least) two places this could be implemented…This could potentially be appended to the current Engagement Throttling settings and should be based on elapsed PX session/visit time in the application (e.g. 3 minutes after a session has started) or # events recorded (e.g. 20 events have been tracked) or # of page views completed (e.g. 10 pages viewed). This would also continue to allow specific PX Engagement to “ignore” these settings and play in real time as needed. A sample mockup of these changes to th
Number of Users as filtering optionAcknowledged
USE CASE: With the current PX design, we don’t have the ability to use the “Number of users and Number of visits” attributes as the filtering fields(In account filters). Even though they are standard/default attributes, we cannot use them in filters. So it would be difficult if we have to filter out some customers/accounts who have more than certain number (x number) of users. For e.g: I want to filter out accounts who have more than 100 users. This can be achieved only if we can filter out by using the “Number of users” attribute as a field in Account filters. Here is the sample image,
Product Mapper - Backfill StatusAcknowledged
First off, the backfill idea is the coolest thing I've seen since, well, I can't think of a comparable connotation of awesomeness, but you get the idea. Could you all implement some type of status on it, however? A percentage of completion, or something, would be immensely helpful in determining two things for me, 1, based on x number of events we should expect y timeframe for results, and when it's actually complete without having to keep refreshing and going back into the product mapper list to see if the orange dot is still there.
Hi, I generate weekly reports for our company regarding our app’s usage, but currently there is no way to select the same date range for the report across all dashboard items, which is frustrating because I have to manually custom-select them for each dashboard widget. Please consider adding a master date range selection tool that will apply to all widgets on a dashboard. Thanks!
When I am exploring the audience in Audience Explorer and then navigate to a user’s Full Profile to review the Recent Activity, the environment should be maintained in that if I am looking at Production, I only want to see Production Recent Activity, with a dropdown option to change between environments. Currently there isn’t a great way to distinguish recent activity between environments unless it’s a PageView and you know the URL.
Ability to change the filter logic to "OR"Acknowledged
USE CASE: Currently in PX filters, we can only apply a AND logic if we add two or more different types of rules in filters. See the image below, If you see in the above image, if we apply two different types of rules like Users and Accounts, by default the AND logic will be applied. However if we use two rules within one filter like two rules in Users or Two rules in Accounts, we have the ability to change it from AND to OR.But globally, for different types we do not have the ability to change it from AND to OR.It would be really nice to have a filter configurations like we have in the Audience rules of engagements. See below,
I would love the ability to have different levels of throttling based on the engagement type. For example (not necessarily the exact settings I would use, but for the sake of the example):Surveys - show users no more than 1 survey per month Webinar/event invites - show users no more than 1 engagement per week (could use engagement labels or something to indicate that a particular dialog engagement is a webinar/event invite) Guides - show 1 per day since these are more contextual I think the new engagement priority feature could be applied to account for some of this; still, it’d be really fantastic if I could just report internally that “we don’t send more than 1 event invite per week” for example to alleviate concerns around engagement fatigue.Similar/follow up to this post
[KC Bot] Allow KC Bot Added Engagements to Be Modified of their Engagement Level Configuration, Without Having to remove it from KC Bot.Acknowledged
Posting on Behalf of a Customer, but would say its a good idea also. Today when trying to edit the Engagement used in KC Bot you get below. Its a pretty bad experience where someone has to go back and forth to remove the Engagement from KC Bot, Pause the Engagement, Make Changes, Launch, then readd into KC Bot. Especially, If a simple change needs to be done, such as fixing a spelling error, or changing the title of a step. Somewhat related to this community thread:
Global Context is a great idea but it would be much more useful to be able to use it in the Query Builder, in the Audience Explorer (view it in Recent Activity Details), or in Engagement Analytics. What are the plans to expose this valuable information throughout the product?
We have many engagements and onboarding experiences that use similar filter criteria. For example, we want to filter several engagements by combinations of geography and by another custom attribute, with the geography being not just a single country but multiple countries that receive the same regional experience. The criteria are consistent across engagements and across our analytics, but users may match different elements of our criteria over time.We would like to be able to create reusable sets of filters that we can maintain across Gainsight and import across a few areas, including:Audience dashboard Analytics reports EngagementsRight now, every time we have to modify the criteria for these groups of users, we have to find every single place across several different areas of Gainsight. Given that we have dozens of engagements and are building out more reports, this is both a maintenance nightmare and extremely error-prone due to the amount of manual work and tracking of filter crit
When using the bot, give users the ability to paste in screenshots and also allow attachmentsAcknowledged
For the bot to be a useful support and product idea tool it needs to have the ability for users to paste in screenshots in the message body as well as supporting attachment of files. We’re getting great engagement from our customers through the bot, but the lack of ability for users to show us their problem or suggestion visually or through files is creating extra steps in the feedback support process since we have to ask them to email them.
In Path Analyzer when the threshold value is set to “0”, report displays top 9 features and everything else will be categorized as “Other”. It would be helpful if there is an ability to expand the “other” category to see what features are included.
Currently in Analytics (Engagement performances), "Add filters" options is limited to only "Survey performance". Can we make this feature(add filters) available for "In-App performance" also. If we want to apply features, we can add widget in dashboard of particular engagement, but the downside is It will display only one graph. Having a filter at the In-App performance would be helpful to take out the non-applicable users in the numbers of who viewed the individual slides in the slider.
Build a segment to satisfy both "number of visits" and "last seen" conditions for one particular feaAcknowledged
Use case: We need to track the user event data in "last 30days" along with the "number of visits having 3". In current scenario, while using "number of visits" condition we cannot track the data for particular timeslot. As it is displaying the entire data which satisfies the "number of visits" condition irrespective of timeslot. Currently when we use "number of visits" condition in the Audience explorer(Product mapper), it isn't considering the defined timeslot (last seen condition). The event is popping when the "number of visits" condition satisfies. Can we make this audience rule to satisfy both conditions? For eg: rule 1: Feature - is - "#abc" Last seen - lessthan - "30 days" rule 2: Feature - is - "#abc" Number of visits - greater than - "3" Can we make this work?
