Hi, we would like to create Knowledge Center Bot in Finnish in PX (we don’t want to use xliff translation files, because we have all content ready in Finnish). Otherwise creating bot in Finnish is done well, but we can't edit two sections in the Feedback section without a xliff file: 1. Guiding texts in the text area 2. CTA-button (Submit).Could these be customizable?
I would love the ability to have different levels of throttling based on the engagement type. For example (not necessarily the exact settings I would use, but for the sake of the example):Surveys - show users no more than 1 survey per month Webinar/event invites - show users no more than 1 engagement per week (could use engagement labels or something to indicate that a particular dialog engagement is a webinar/event invite) Guides - show 1 per day since these are more contextual I think the new engagement priority feature could be applied to account for some of this; still, it’d be really fantastic if I could just report internally that “we don’t send more than 1 event invite per week” for example to alleviate concerns around engagement fatigue.Similar/follow up to this post
Survey Frequency - Every TimeNo Status
We are trying to use a multi-question survey as a “paywall” tied to an upsell feature. However, surveys do not allow for “every time” like other engagements. This survey triggers a webhook to our sales outreach that allows them to immediately contact the client. However, since there is no “every time” option for surveys, we can only launch it once per session for the user.
It would be EXTREMELY helpful to be able to target audiences in the Gainsight PX Knowledge Center Bot based on State or Inferred Location. For example, we’re trying to display our latest Knowledge Center Bot to users in Michigan, but can’t do so. Our business is highly reliant on regions, so this is a crucial missing component.
Trying to do iterative development on engagements is very painful and time consuming, especially when you enable triggering them from the KC Bot. Anyone with a rudimentary exposure to software development lifecycles knows that you should never work directly on what’s in production. Since there’s no real versioning or branching support, you end up cloning active engagements and the active KC Bot, changing the audience criteria and working on the new version.Working on the clones is also painful, as you need to constantly pause the Dev Bot or remove the engagement from it, then pause the engagement and then work on it. Actually, if you have the engagement open before you pause the bot, it will keep complaining it’s being used in an active bot, even if you have since paused it. The engagement doesn’t refresh the bot’s state after every attempt to pause the engagement. The opposite happens when you work on a bot, to add an engagement. It doesn’t refresh the engagement state, when you try t
I’m creating a dialog guide-style engagement to walkthrough a reporting feature. It works fine in accounts that have reporting data in them, but in new accounts without any data, many of the elements that I have steps for are not present. In that case, when the user clicks “Next”, PX looks for the next element, can’t find it, and the tour just stops. Is there a way to have PX go to the next element that it *can* find, instead of just stopping?
Hi Everyone, With one of our latest releases in PX, we have got the option to clone the KC Bot. But we can only clone the KC bot to the same product on which it was designed, that means we cannot clone the the KC bot to other products. It would be really helpful and will reduce a lot of manual work if we can clone the KC bot to other product as well. Thanks, Shireesha.
Working in an application with an extensive product feature tree, the select feature UI can be hard to navigate while mapping features. For example, I have some areas of the application that are 4 or 5 modules deep and I have to click down into each module to view the features. Each time I click I need to identify the next parent to click on to drill down to the appropriate feature, which I want to focus on.See: https://www.screencast.com/t/OpOkWnNyDifIIt would be nice if the feature tree view that exists in the px application was used within the overlay for product mapping to more easily find features within context of the full tree view. Clicking into the dropdown could possibly expand to show the full treeview, or it could display in some sort of side panel. If ‘expand all’ or filter capability was added it would be much easier to find a specific feature.
I wanted to create a dialog directed to those who scored us low on an NPS survey we previously sent out, but I was surprised to see this option doesn't exist (yet). For now you can only use Survey scores as an audience rule for email engagements. It might be an idea to introduce this for all engagements?
Hi All, I wondered if anyone has been able to do a structured survey? I know that we have a lot of options available within Gainsight PX but we aren’t able to branch off to follow on questions based around a previous response. So my Idea/Example is: How do you find the tool? - Option A = Trigger Question 2.1 - Option B = Trigger Question 2.2 - Option C = Trigger Question 2.3 I hope that makes sense, I know we are able to do surveys like this within SurveyMonkey allowing us to change the sequence of questions depending on their previous choice. I also didnt know if we can create an engagement which launches based on their survey responses? So if someone scores a feature low in a survey, we can trigger a follow up guide or pop-up to educate the user on the features a bit better (so technically they’ve highlighted their struggles and we’re now holding their hand through a new on
We have Excel files that contain a download template that we would like to insert into a badge-launched dialog. Most have been fine, but I have one that is more than 30 rows (it’s 35) and I’m running into a dialog size limit. When using copy/paste from the Excel file, in PX I get a message about a “Word Paste Detected” and if I’d like to “clean” or “keep” the formatting. Keeping the formatting looks much better and keeps any colors or text formatting that I have in the Excel file.An example of one that is within the size limit: Keep option:Clean option:Any chance of increasing the dialog size limit?

PX + Slack integrationNo Status
Hi, we enabled PX + Slack integration, to receive real time notifications when we receive NPS or CES score. As an idea, it would be awesome to filter what notifications to receive - e.g. only detractors for NPS, or only ones that gave 1-3 score, or for feedback to fw only issue type. @link_black @mickey
It would be ideal to be able to filter the answers of our survey in the integration that exists with PX and Slack, through which we receive notifications every time someone responds to our survey. For example in Slack we would like to be able to filter only the "Detractors" who are "Admin" users. For now we can only select to receive all responses, but there is no option to filter and this would be ideal in order to take more immediate actions depending on the user type who is answering.
When enabling the show mapped features option and then navigating to a new page, the overlay of mapped features from the previous page will still display. Currently, you need to toggle this off and on when going to a new page. It would ideally refresh each time you load a new page.
When using the “Tag UI element as feature” functionality in the product mapper we have to modify the URL to remove GUIDs and add wildcards for every feature individually. For example, if I tag an element it may have a distinct URL like: https://application.companyname.com/product/edit/8da4c590-cb2c-11ec-9780-c7a52d328538*I would need to modify this to look like this:https://application.*.com/product/edit/* Rather than do this feature by feature, it would save a ton of time to be able to tag all the elements, then in the product feature tree apply a bulk edit to replace ‘company name’ with * and then another bulk edit to replace 8da4c590-cb2c-11ec-9780-c7a52d328538 with null to the features.
Filter by engagement CTA in query builderAcknowledged
Currently in Gainsight PX query builder, one cannot filter engagements by CTA click, only by engagement view or engagement completion. Having this capability will be useful when trying to make associations with CTA conversions. Please add this capability. Thanks!
I have a customer using Google Search knowledge base integration but they would like to be able to assign a specific URL to each bot, based on language. The use case here is that there are separate documentation sites for each language of documentation, which have unique URLs: https://help.company.com/espanol/vshttps://help.company.com/support.html

When working with a very large product map, it is hard to identify features that were created but are missing rules. If you expand the module within the PX app there is a visual indicator for which ones have rules and which don’t, but there is no way to easily find these without expanding each module. It would be nice to be able to either filter the tree view for these features, or to filter the list itself. When using the product mapper in your application, there isn’t the same visual indicator for these features so it is hard to know which ones still need to be setup:The icon should be consistent to give a visual indicator and it would also be very useful to be able to filter for these while working in your application.
Insert a list of IDs at onceAcknowledged
Hi everyone,We would really appreciate if there would be an option to copy-paste a list of IDs into the Audience Logic field when defining an engagement (not saying that this option shouldn’t be available for other fields in other parts of PX too). The use case is very straightforward. Imagine having hundreds of Accounts using the same product in basically the same way (their actions and behaviour are very similar). But you have a one-time special reason why you want to show your notification only to Users of (let’s say) 50 specific accounts. And imagine that you can get this list of 50 accounts in question very easily from your database. In this case, what would be perfect, in a sense that it would make sure that the right audience will be targeted, is to insert the 50 AccountIDs in question (as the only Audience Logic condition) and immediately launch the event. With the currently available options, the only way to do this is to manually insert Id per Id... until you inserted all 50 :)
Expose the untracked, unmapped, unidentified product pages/features in an organized "unmapped" locationNo Status
Use Case:Our product is particularly deep, offering a LOT of feature customization and capability to savvy customers. That means that the Suggestion Mode mapping isn’t a “complete” look at the structure of our platform, and mapping of the product manually requires a measured and prioritized approach. Without a resource to see the unmapped activity in my product, I don’t know what pages/features aren’t yet uncovered, what kind of activity those product areas are capturing, nor how I should prioritize them.Rationale:Not all product pages or features are equal in priority. That said, the purpose of Gainsight PX is to capture data to determine feature priorities and recognize or uncover usage trends previously unknown. Unfortunately, the Product Mapper requires you to already know what pages and features are a priority (in order for them to be mapped, you have to know/think to map them). Discovering how your customers actually interact with your product includes identifying pages and featu
