We have Excel files that contain a download template that we would like to insert into a badge-launched dialog. Most have been fine, but I have one that is more than 30 rows (it’s 35) and I’m running into a dialog size limit. When using copy/paste from the Excel file, in PX I get a message about a “Word Paste Detected” and if I’d like to “clean” or “keep” the formatting. Keeping the formatting looks much better and keeps any colors or text formatting that I have in the Excel file.An example of one that is within the size limit: Keep option:Clean option:Any chance of increasing the dialog size limit?
Dashboard managementNo Status
Read through https://support.gainsight.com/PX/Security/Enablement/Role-Based_Access_Control#Additional_ResourcesUsers with Role = Viewer and Dashboards, either should :Not be able to create as a Public dashboard Not be able to create a dashboard Admin automatically has the ability to manage the dashboard
It would be ideal to be able to filter the answers of our survey in the integration that exists with PX and Slack, through which we receive notifications every time someone responds to our survey. For example in Slack we would like to be able to filter only the "Detractors" who are "Admin" users. For now we can only select to receive all responses, but there is no option to filter and this would be ideal in order to take more immediate actions depending on the user type who is answering.
When enabling the show mapped features option and then navigating to a new page, the overlay of mapped features from the previous page will still display. Currently, you need to toggle this off and on when going to a new page. It would ideally refresh each time you load a new page.
Working in an application with an extensive product feature tree, the select feature UI can be hard to navigate while mapping features. For example, I have some areas of the application that are 4 or 5 modules deep and I have to click down into each module to view the features. Each time I click I need to identify the next parent to click on to drill down to the appropriate feature, which I want to focus on.See: https://www.screencast.com/t/OpOkWnNyDifIIt would be nice if the feature tree view that exists in the px application was used within the overlay for product mapping to more easily find features within context of the full tree view. Clicking into the dropdown could possibly expand to show the full treeview, or it could display in some sort of side panel. If ‘expand all’ or filter capability was added it would be much easier to find a specific feature.
When using the “Tag UI element as feature” functionality in the product mapper we have to modify the URL to remove GUIDs and add wildcards for every feature individually. For example, if I tag an element it may have a distinct URL like: https://application.companyname.com/product/edit/8da4c590-cb2c-11ec-9780-c7a52d328538*I would need to modify this to look like this:https://application.*.com/product/edit/* Rather than do this feature by feature, it would save a ton of time to be able to tag all the elements, then in the product feature tree apply a bulk edit to replace ‘company name’ with * and then another bulk edit to replace 8da4c590-cb2c-11ec-9780-c7a52d328538 with null to the features.
Trying to do iterative development on engagements is very painful and time consuming, especially when you enable triggering them from the KC Bot. Anyone with a rudimentary exposure to software development lifecycles knows that you should never work directly on what’s in production. Since there’s no real versioning or branching support, you end up cloning active engagements and the active KC Bot, changing the audience criteria and working on the new version.Working on the clones is also painful, as you need to constantly pause the Dev Bot or remove the engagement from it, then pause the engagement and then work on it. Actually, if you have the engagement open before you pause the bot, it will keep complaining it’s being used in an active bot, even if you have since paused it. The engagement doesn’t refresh the bot’s state after every attempt to pause the engagement. The opposite happens when you work on a bot, to add an engagement. It doesn’t refresh the engagement state, when you try t
I would love to be able to trigger an automated email engagement to users who read one of the articles we feature within KC Bot. We host how-to guides within the Bot, and if we can get people viewing a certain feature that they do not have access to - we could fire out an email to acknowledge their interaction and ask if they would like to buy access. It could be a great way to introduce more lead generation to Gainsight PX.
We need to update one of our products url. As a result any engagements and product mappers related to pages in this product need to be updated accordingly. Is there a way to define the top urls as global variables so they can be referenced when defining engagements and product mappers?
We have a set up where we have a bunch of engagaments designed to onboard our new users. They are supposed to see them in a specific order and we’d like to in an easy way see, both for specific users but mainly in general, how much time/when exactly the users see the engagaments. For example,We have engagaments A, B & C. They should be viewed in that order. We’d like to see how long does it take for a user to go through the full “flow” and how much time usually passes between seeing A & B and B & C etc. Let me know if I can clarify our use case in any way. Thanks!
Ability to undelete an engagementNo Status
When you delete an engagement, it would be helpful if the engagement went to a “trash” or “archive” area instead of being completely deleted. Administrators could then go to that area and undelete engagements.Accidents can happen where someone accidentally deletes the wrong engagement. This feature would make it easy to reverse deletion.
Engagement Badge AnimationNo Status
It would be great to combine the Badge to launch an engagement with the hotspot animation. This would be helpful for new content that you want to direct a user’s attention to. Then, I’d want the animation to stop but the badge to remain after the user has clicked on the badge and viewed the engagement one time.
As I understand it, currently only documents and videos can be pulled from our LMS into the knowledge center tab in a PX bot. However, our LMS also allows us to load SCORM files (Shareable Content Object Reference Model) as a learning content type but Gainsight won’t pull them from our LMS for a user to view. Any plans to include this as an option in the future?
Submitting on behalf of our customer… Since the Gainsight aggregated default reports contains daily data, how to get data for the days when the integration was down/broken? How do we get historical data? Our S3 integration was in Down for 3 days due to AWS keys issue and the only way I was able to find out that by manually checking files on S3 and/or Gainsight Admin console. It would be great if PX provided the ability to execute missed/historic runs with PX Amazon S3 Integration. Also, if PX knows that the integration was down/broken then it would be great if it would automatically process and export the missing days once.
Submitting on behalf of our customer… The only way to know if the PX Amazon S3 Integration export jobs were successful is to review the status of the AWS_S3_PUSH job in the PX Admin Console. It would be much preferred if we could get notified in case of failure in exporting Gainsight reports to the S3 via email/MS Teams and/or hook it up with PagerDuty.
I didn’t see anything in the PX forums for this, but when I create an email and sent a test, there is an automated footer with an Unsubscribe link and a View in Browser link. These are nowhere to be found when I am editing the email, and I have been unable to locate it anywhere. Our marketing team doesn’t like the phrasing, plus we don’t know where the unsubscribe link is directing users.I did find an idea on the CS Product forum: Custom Headers/Footers for Email Templates | Gainsight Community and posted this comment: “This would be a request for Gainsight PX as well. I am starting to explore emails from PX, and there is an automated footer with an unsubscribe link and a “view in browser” link. I don’t know where the unsubscribe URL goes. It is not something I can see to edit or delete. It is not a part of the template I can edit. We don’t have CS now, so I don’t know how the experience differs.”
We want to present two KC Bots with different content: 1) Audience is the admin role for initial onboarding and 2) Audience is all roles. After the admin completes all initial onboarding tasks, they qualify for the content in bot 2.
Would like to simply track the Category and the number of selected labels as a way to measure feedback. Make Subject and Description optional selections.Alternatively, provide an option for like / dislike with a few options for recording why it was liked or disliked.
