Control over Knowledge Centre Bot PositionImplemented

USE CASE: Currently in PX, when we launch the Knowledge Centre Bot, it will be displayed at the “Right/Left bottom corner” of the application. And we don’t have the ability to control the position of the Bot. We can set it to either right or left bottom. It would be better if we have the ability to locate it relative to any side of the browser both in x and y. This would give users the ability to put it where there is room for it. Some of the applications may have some important field at that place and if we launch the Bot, it might show up on the important information. Which is annoying for the user while using the application because there is no way that they can scroll away the Bot. So it would be really awesome if we have more control over changing the position of the Bot. **It would be more helpful if we can provide the drag-down option also. Thanks, Shireesha.

Changing the Emojis in SurveysImplemented

USE CASE: In PX, with the current design we are not able to change the icons/emojis in the surveys. For E.g, Considering the Boolean survey, we have two emojis with the different expressions. Here is the image, Some of the users, may not want to use the face emojis, as they might come off as racially insensitive. But with the current design, we can’t change the icons. So it would be better if we have the option to edit the icons, either through code or by including some other symbols in the PX, like Thumbs-up/Thumbs-down symbols. Thanks, Shireesha.

Multi-Stage FeaturesNo Status

It would be helpful if we could create multi-stage features - for example, a process wherein a user has to click to initiate, then enter some text in this box, then click another option, then click submit, that would for the most part constitute a complete “action” for most of my use cases, as opposed to just clicking and viewing the page. I’m no programmer so I don’t know how difficult that would be, but in my selfish opinion it should be done. Dream with me, for a moment, of a PX world wherein this random guy makes astronomical requests and says they’re simple, prefaced by saying he has no idea what he’s talking about!! Today is that day! Jokes aside, It would give me more accurate metrics. I have utilized the path analyzer, but it’s a bit clunky just to get to this end result. Thoughts?

Include "Contains" in URL selectionNo Status

USE CASE: Currently in PX, While mapping the features to the Product Mapper, We have to select the exact scope i.e, “URL”. It would be helpful to have the “Contains” option while adding the URL, it would be a very handy to have a contains option. Testing Workflow LimitationsNo Status

Hi folks, I think there’s a lot of room for improvement in how one goes about building, testing, and deploying engagements. Some challenges we’ve run into: There is essentially zero testing workflow. This causes us constant challenges as we have to work in a production environment. You cannot copy engagements from a test environment into a production one. This makes building in a test environment relatively useless due to duplication of effort required. There is no way to easily put something into "test mode" so that only certain users have access (without building a custom segment). There should be some kind of "sand box" mode where you can dig in and test. Preview mode doesn't always match what happens in reality. There is no way to test whether or not a segment will fire based on inputs. This is a big one. I think it would be great to have a sandbox/preview mode where there's a right-panel that allows you to change certain inputs. For example, entering an "account name" and "

Segmentation ImprovementsPartially Fixed

I think there are some improvements to be made in the Segmentation engine. Cannot do segments within segments. This really limits our ability to manage custom audiences and merge them together as necessary for guides or other purposes. Can AND and OR criteria, but cannot do something like this: "target engagement to users who visited NewsCenter feature < 5 times within the last 30 days." Can only do: "NewsCenter feature < 5 times", "Visited anywhere in product within 30 days". Thanks for listening!

Reporting / Analytics feels like it needs an overhaulUnder Consideration

These are the concerns I've been sharing with the PX team for a while now, figured I would share here as well as there are likely others with similar or tangential challenges. Feel free to share your thoughts here. Reporting Limitations Have to go to 3-4 different sections of the reporting interface to get an answer or create a report. There are substantial UI inconsistencies between the different areas of reporting. It’s like they were built individually by different teams and patched together. Some filters exist in parts of the reporting, while they don't exist in others. Again, just more inconsistencies. For example, I’m in one part of analytics and get close to what I need using a filter. I think to myself, “oooh, I could go over to that other part of analytics and use the same filter and get what I’m looking for” only to find I can’t use that filter over there. Saving or sharing is handled in 3-4 completely different ways, depending on the part of reporting you're in. Query

It’s incredibly painful that I cannot copy or paste into a rules field. When you’re dealing with hundreds of tenants across various segments, it’s not fun to have to manually do this when groups need to move.

Ability to filter the overview of top features per user for one customerNo Status

USE CASE: Currently in PX, There is no option to filter the top features which are used by customer. For Example, There is a customer called “A1” and there are some specific users for that customer. We need the overall features used by the Users of the customer. The steps needs to follow is, 1. select an organization (one of our customers) 2. have an overview of all the users 3. for each user, I would like to see their top used features Below is the reference image, ***With the current design, We can only view the top features but not “which user used How many features”.***

Tracking the statistics of articles in KC botImplemented

Hello team and @harshibanka , It would be better to track the stats of the articles that which are being viewed. It would be nice if we can also track which article is being opened quite often and maximum times and which article is being opened minimum. Presently we only track the stats of the engagements in the KC bot but not the articles in the KC bot. thanks, Avinash.

Ability to Enable/Disable or modify KC BOT functions.Partially Fixed

Use Cases: Ability to Enable/Disable the Tabs (On boarding, Feedback) of the Knowledge centre bot. If the user don’t need to go through the on- boarding articles, then it would be better if we have the leverage to turn off the tab. Ability to display the KC Bot to only specific customers cohorts, For whom it is needed. With the current design, if we launch the KC Bot it will pop-up for every customer. So we don’t have the ability to customise the knowledge centre Bot. Ability to change the style/location of the bot with custom CSS/Code. Now, with the current design there is no option to update or edit the CSS code. We can just change the shape of the Bot. Unlike it can we make it possible to change the location of the BOT.

Calculation of custom adoption metricsNo Status

It would be nice to be able to calculate and trend custom adoption metrics in PX (both global, per account and even per user), for example The percentage of users using a group of selected features (to see what percentage of users uses basic, advanced or expert functionality). The ratio of advanced feature events vs. other selected or all events Being able to calculate this per account and, for example, plot advanced feature usage vs. usage frequency would provide an interesting overview of the accounts for segmenting (e.g., accounts with high usage frequency and high adoption of advanced features vs. low usage frequency but high advanced feature adoption) A similar representation on the user level would allow selecting power users or targeting selected users by campaigns to either increase usage frequency or advanced feature adoption.

Spiderweb charts for product adoptionNo Status

In the pre-PX era, we have experimented with usage data from Mixpanel in Google sheets. The following graph proved very useful, both for CSMs to start a discussion with project leads at customers and for our product team to assess the adoption of features (both on global level as for strategic accounts). For a selected set of features, this spiderweb graph shows the percentage of users using those features for selected accounts (blue) and for all accounts (or all accounts adhering to a specific filter), so you can benchmark the feature adoption. The graph really gives a nice overview of feature adoption and it would be great if this graphical representation would become available for PX adoption reports.

Start knowledge bot from custom button or linkPlanned

We'd like to implement the Knowledge Center Bot for our users to start PX tours at their liking. However, the KC button is always covering crucial functionality on our application. It would be nice if we could open the KC bot via a link, so we can add our own custom button in the application for users to open the bot or embed it in our existing Help Center.

Regarding the emailed reports that gets sent to PX users, it would be fantastic to customize them. A Customer Success use case would be for each CSM to receive a report of their respective accounts and usage information. This will help each CSM keep their accounts top of mind weekly/daily. Ability to leverage Gainsight PX notifications in multiple slack channelsAcknowledged

Currently, when we integrate the slack with the Gainsight PX, We are providing only one channel where we can receive the notifications. Can we make it possible to add the multiple slack channels while integrating, so that we can configure like “within each channel establish unique channel specific alerts”. For Example, USE CASE: I’ll create the multiple slack channels called Engagements channel, Account channel, Audience channel etc. Then While integrating,I want to map “Engagement related notifications to #Engagement_channel.” “Accounts related notifications to #Account_channel.” “Audience related notifications to #Audience_channel.” “Leads created -> #BDR_Leads.” “Feedback received -> #ProductManagement or #FeatureRequest.” **With the current design, we can set up only one channel for all the notifications.

Targeting email Audience Via CSVNo Status

Speaking with a customer who would like to be able to target an email audience by using a CSV. Use Case: The use case is that they sent an email to a list of customers (including multiple within an account) from Gainsight and had it come from the CSM. They want to follow up on that email with a GainsightPX notification (dialog engagement) to that same list of people–like a multi-touch campaign across channels for specific customers. They would like to target this specific list with a notification when they log in to the product.

Default new Dashboards to PrivateWorkaround Available

Posting on Behalf of a customer here. Currently whenever someone in the company creates a test dashboard it's instantly being showed publicly to all users and it leads to confusion and a clutter of dashboards for everyone in the company. Also when companies are sensitive to who sees what dashboards, it is easy to be unaware of what material is showing in dashboards upon creation. Suggestion would be to have dashboards private by default and then made public or shared with team members. -Mike

PX Integration with SFDC SandboxPlanned

Hi Team, I am reaching out after a recent discussion with a customer. Customer would like to connect PX to a sandbox salesforce environment. UseCase: Need to Connect the PX with Salesforce Sandbox. Existing Design: As of now this is not supported and the only integration is with salesforce production. Can we expect in the near future to be able to connect to a sandbox environment? Thanks Mike

It would be awesome if you were able preview the participants for the audience logic setup for a dialog, slider, guide or survey engagement. Intercom has this feature and it’s great to sanity check who’s going to receive your message before you set it live. Any ideas about a way to check an Engagement’s audience using Audience Explorer?

We have several engagements (10+) that need to be “permanent”, without end date. Right now we put the end date a lot in advance, but what has happened is that some were stopped (as scheduled) and we were not aware. Does anyone else have a similar need? @link_black

Bot - ability to change the text 'read more'No Status

Recently we are working to enable PX bot in our app, and want to lead users to our video training instead of the KB article. The text ‘read more’ is hard text and can’t be changed. It would be great to have the option to change this text. i.e. watch the video…. learn more…. etc. For our use case, read more… doesn’t work. Thanks
