Engagements: Allow previewing and name changes without pausingImplemented

Gainsight PX requires you to pause an engagement when you are doing things that shouldn't be customer facing. I'd like to see the ability to do the following without having to pause the engagement: [list] [*]Change the name of an engagement while it's live without pausing [*]Be able to preview guides (make eyeball available) without pausing. Often, I just need a screenshot or to show other team members what the guide looks like and I have to pause it in order to do this. Currently on dialogs you can click on the preview eyeball when the engagement is live but the same option doesn't exist on guides (you can only edit guide in-app). [/list]

Deleting Custom EventsNo Status

Hey Team,   I was speaking with a customer today who has sent some custom events that are no longer relevant and would like to remove some custom event types from the drop downs in the product mapper and query builder.   Do we see having the ability to delete Custom Events in the near future?   -Mike

Audience Explorer > View Full Profile > Recent Activity Should Follow Same EnvironmentAcknowledged

When I am exploring the audience in Audience Explorer and then navigate to a user’s Full Profile to review the Recent Activity, the environment should be maintained in that if I am looking at Production, I only want to see Production Recent Activity, with a dropdown option to change between environments. Currently there isn’t a great way to distinguish recent activity between environments unless it’s a PageView and you know the URL.

Product Mapper - Backfill StatusAcknowledged

First off, the backfill idea is the coolest thing I've seen since, well, I can't think of a comparable connotation of awesomeness, but you get the idea. Could you all implement some type of status on it, however? A percentage of completion, or something, would be immensely helpful in determining two things for me, 1, based on x number of events we should expect y timeframe for results, and when it's actually complete without having to keep refreshing and going back into the product mapper list to see if the orange dot is still there.

User Management PermissionsNo Status

It would be helpful to the customers to be able to create permissions for different roles and be able to see which users are assigned which permission sets without having to edit that user.

Access to global css for high level visual customizationPlanned

Gainsight supports css on guide and template levels. However there are multiple css selectors that are not accessible or can’t be customized, for example, 1) triangle (which points to the aligned element) from the engagement guide takes the background color and can’t be hidden using css (No. it doesn’t take transparent color as background); 2) a drop shadow on .apt-guide-popup level remains visible and can’t be customized even after turning off shadow in Settings.  There are also css attributes that are cross templates (e.g., font-family, default text/link color) which need to be set/repeated in every template. Having capability to access/customize global css would help solving these limitations.

Add PX Analytics filter options for Browser and Device TypeNo Status

Posting on behalf of a customer… It would be great to include Browser and Device Type as available filters in PX Analytics.  We still use Google Analytics for this analysis and would like to do this in PX if possible. Gainsight Add-on… We do currently support targeting PX Engagements by Device, platform (OS), and Browser and we also have a Dashboard widget available for Browser analysis.  See below screenshots:

Master date selection filter on custom dashboardsAcknowledged

Hi, I generate weekly reports for our company regarding our app’s usage, but currently there is no way to select the same date range for the report across all dashboard items, which is frustrating because I have to manually custom-select them for each dashboard widget. Please consider adding a master date range selection tool that will apply to all widgets on a dashboard. Thanks!

Ability to hide certain type of events in Path Analyzer reportAcknowledged

It would be helpful if there is a toggle to show and hide certain types of events.  For example, being able to hide UI Element rules would help a lot. Show only custom events hide generic features like “Any Page Viewed”

Add PX Product Name and Environment to PX User Profile activity and engagement logsImplemented

Since there is only one PX User Profile view available, the Recent Activity and Recent Engagements logs can come from different PX Products and/or Environments. Because of this, it is not easy to understand clearly which Product and Environment these event logs come from. Therefore, it would help immensely if the individual logs included information about the specific PX Product Name and Environment Name they came from.  Also, it would help if there were a filtering options to pick the PX Product and/or Environment so the event logs can be investigated more precisely.   And lastly, it would be ideal if the Recent Activity and Recent Engagements results were automatically filtered based on the PX Product and Environment selected on the previous screen that brought the user to the PX User Profile screen.

Changing the Emojis in SurveysImplemented

USE CASE:  In PX, with the current design we are not able to change the icons/emojis in the surveys. For E.g, Considering the Boolean survey, we have two emojis with the different expressions. Here is the image, Some of the users, may not want to use the face emojis, as they might come off as racially insensitive. But with the current design, we can’t change the icons.    So it would be better if we have the option to edit the icons, either through code or by including some other symbols in the PX, like Thumbs-up/Thumbs-down symbols.    Thanks, Shireesha.

[KC Bot] Allow KC Bot Added Engagements to Be Modified of their Engagement Level Configuration, Without Having to remove it from KC Bot.Acknowledged

Posting on Behalf of a Customer, but would say its a good idea also. Today when trying to edit the Engagement used in KC Bot you get below. Its a pretty bad experience where someone has to go back and forth to remove the Engagement from KC Bot, Pause the Engagement, Make Changes, Launch, then readd into KC Bot.  Especially, If a simple change needs to be done, such as fixing a spelling error, or changing the title of a step.  Somewhat related to this community thread:

Ability to have different levels of throttling per different engagement typesAcknowledged

I would love the ability to have different levels of throttling based on the engagement type. For example (not necessarily the exact settings I would use, but for the sake of the example):Surveys - show users no more than 1 survey per month Webinar/event invites - show users no more than 1 engagement per week (could use engagement labels or something to indicate that a particular dialog engagement is a webinar/event invite) Guides - show 1 per day since these are more contextual I think the new engagement priority feature could be applied to account for some of this; still, it’d be really fantastic if I could just report internally that “we don’t send more than 1 event invite per week” for example to alleviate concerns around engagement fatigue.Similar/follow up to this post

Account Level Filtering for PX dashboardsWorkaround Available

Hi,   When we’re building dashboards in PX, we’re able to filter out on environment level (prod/qa/dev..) only. Currently, If I have to build a dashboard of metrics for multiple accounts, I’ll have to build N number of dashboards.Can we include account level filtering so that I can build a single dashboard and use filter to view the data for multiple accounts?

Option to edit the Categories of Feedback in KC BotImplemented

PX KC bot option will be used by most of the customers to get the feedbacks of their Users. So allowing them to manage the feedback categories is a really good option we can provide, As the default options provided by PX might not be useful for them.     Thanks, Shireesha

Manually Edit User or Account Attribute VALUES in Gainsight PXWorkaround Available

USE CASE:I have a custom account field for companies who’ve elected to NOT receive engagements. So I want to edit the attribute value for the specific accounts based on customer feedback whether they should receive the Engagements or not, and this can be used as a rule in audience criteria in the Engagements (Display the engagement If the custom attribute value is true only). I’d like to be able to manually change it within PX without an unnecessarily heavy API process. Other Solutions We have:If we have the integration with SFDC, we can create a field in SFDC(Account/Contact) and Create a custom attribute on Account/User in PX and sync the value We can update the field using the API’sHowever, there is no way to edit or update the field value manually.  Video Recording of the Use case:https://www.loom.com/share/710003bb467549089de8cb6d7cc7090e ThanksShireesha

Export user activityResponse from Customer

It would be great to able to generate a raw export of all events from all users in a given account.For example, if an account has 17 users, I would like to export an aggregate list of the “Recent Activity” in one long list for all 17 users.This would make it easy to do some Excel post-processing to analyze patterns in a given customer context.

Ability to change the filter logic to "OR"Acknowledged

USE CASE: Currently in PX filters, we can only apply a AND logic if we add two or more different types of rules in filters. See the image below, If you see in the above image, if we apply two different types of rules like Users and Accounts, by default the AND logic will be applied. However if we use two rules within one filter like two rules in Users or Two rules in Accounts, we have the ability to change it from AND to OR.But globally, for different types we do not have the ability to change it from AND to OR.It would be really nice to have a filter configurations like we have in the Audience rules of engagements. See below,

Re-usable filters across engagements, Audience, and AnalyticsAcknowledged

We have many engagements and onboarding experiences that use similar filter criteria. For example, we want to filter several engagements by combinations of geography and by another custom attribute, with the geography being not just a single country but multiple countries that receive the same regional experience. The criteria are consistent across engagements and across our analytics, but users may match different elements of our criteria over time.We would like to be able to create reusable sets of filters that we can maintain across Gainsight and import across a few areas, including:Audience dashboard Analytics reports EngagementsRight now, every time we have to modify the criteria for these groups of users, we have to find every single place across several different areas of Gainsight. Given that we have dozens of engagements and are building out more reports, this is both a maintenance nightmare and extremely error-prone due to the amount of manual work and tracking of filter crit

Capture Screen Resolution, Browser Size, Device Type, OS of UsersAcknowledged

Hi folks, I’ve been asked for this capability weekly by our product and design teams for what seems like months now.  I don’t understand why PX can track browser type, but you don’t bother to track screen resolution, browser frame size, device type, nor OS while you’re at it.   Imagine how nice it would be to limit visibility of a guide or dialogue to someone who has their window size too small or is on a particular device?  Or the ability to adjust guides based on resolution?  Not to mention being able to report on what your user base has for set up so we can better design our products.   We don’t want to install (yet another) product to track just this.  Please help!

Exclude Features or Modules from Path AnalyzerPartially Fixed

Is there a filter that can be applied to exclude certain features or modules from the path analyzer report? We have a large number of custom events that are mapped that are rendering in the Path Analyzer report that I’d like to exclude, but once selected I cannot see a way that would logically exclude the module or feature itself.

Ensure entities used as targets in engagements live in production cannot be changed.No Status

While you have the permissions granular enough to limit those who can launch engagements into production, there are several areas that users can impact engagements already live in production without knowing. This is a very big concern for security. Updating segments, product mapper, and audience will directly impact any engagement that uses it with no approval process and without the permission to launch engagements to production. We need a way to ensure ANY impact to production engagements is controlled by the production launcher. In addition, with this, there is no way to test changes to segments or product mappings without risk to live engagements. We would have to create a copy of the targets and maybe the entire engagement (not sure, have to test) in order to make changes to the targets. This is a lot of additional work and risk.

Export/Import CSV file of Product MapNo Status

Customers want to perform an audit of their product. It’d be helpful to export a spreadsheet or CSV file of all the features with their associated feature rules. Then, we can make changes on the CSV and import back into PX with updated mappings.
