KCBot localization with different URL destinations

Identifying When User Have Completed (clicked) Two or More Features

My Product Managers would like to know when Users have completed a series of tasks/steps e.g., clicked two or more mapped features.These Features are “connected” by the logical AND statement.For example, how can I get a count of Users that clicked (Feature A) AND (Feature B) AND (Feature C)? The Funnel report accomplishes this and I’ve considered it.But, the Funnel report doesn’t present its results in a line graph format, per day, per week, etc.I was hoping to create a line graph that showed ONLY the count of Users that completed the specified Features (steps). I know I can enter multiple Rules under a single Feature.I also know I can enter multiple Features under a Module.However, the Rules under a Function are logically evaluated using BOOLEAN “OR” logic.Similarly, Functions under a Modules are logically evaluated using BOOLEAN “OR” logic.For example,Suppose we have a Feature that has two Rules, Rule 1 and Rule 2.If Rule 1 is TRUE, then the Feature is TRUE (counted),-OR-If Rule 2 is

Ability to change order of guide buttons

Hi everyoneI’m using the descriptive tooltip default template for a guide walk through. In the image you can see that I’ve enabled the Next (start) button and the Skip button. Ideally I would like to flipflop the two buttons so the Next button is on the right side. I’m unable to figure out how you could customize this. Has anyone dealt with this need before? Thanks!

In Query Builder I can filter by monthly, weekly or daily. We want to understand when our customers are active during the day. Is it possible to somehow track a feature or custom event on an hourly basis?

Any way to have a custom button have more than 1 action types?

Hi there,I’m using the v2 editor. I’d like to update a custom attribute when the Exit button is selected. Is there any way of doing this?Context:I need a way of differentiating between customers who have selected a custom button and those that have just selected the Exit button. Both are coming up as COMPLETED in the analytics. We would like to show a different engagement to users who have only selected Exit. The only way I can see of doing this is to use custom attributes and have the value in the 2nd engagement’s audience logic.TIA.PS. I can’t edit the question heading but would be interested to have solutions to that too as an alternative.

How to avoid engagement fatigue 101

Let’s be honest, no one likes constant pop-ups when they login to a web application. We’ve all had an experience when you are trying to get work done and all of a sudden you experience pop-up after pop-up. I think it is safe to say, this can severely impact user sentiment. Do you have important information that you want to display to your users but don’t want to run the risk of engagement fatigue? Don’t worry, we have a solution for that! The engagement throttling setting controls how often the engagement is displayed to the qualified users in your application.  To configure the throttling settings:Navigate to Administration > Throttling. Turn ON the toggle switch in At least and At most sections. Set the time and number of engagements to be shown parameters. Click Save. Now you may ask, “Julia, we have a lot of engagements that we want to display to our users. Dashboard Widget size for pie charts (Query Builder)

It would be great if we could resize the query builder widget when it is just a pie chart. It is very empty when it just contains a pie chart across 2/3rds of the screen.Another option would be the ability to put multiple pie charts in one widget. This widget could easily hold five pie charts without looking cluttered and that would reduce the number of widgets I have to put on the page.

How to set up link to external community page

My organization has an existing community sight that I would like to link to in a similar way to that which is being used in the Gainsight KC bot: KC Bot LinkThe goal would be to insert an image such as the one shown above that when clicked, would lead the user to the external community site. As a new Gainsight PX user, I'm unsure how to approach this. Any help would be appreciated

Delete Guide V1 Editor Templates?

I’m trying to clean up the templates that have been saved by our users; however, I can’t seem to figure out how to delete V1 templates. I have deleted the unnecessary V2 templates without a problem, but I don’t see an option to delete the V1 templates. When I create a new V1 Guide, I can delete a couple Saved Templates. The ones I want to delete show up as Saved Templates when I create a new V2 Guide and look at the template selector.

I noticed that when creating a new article, I could not find your HTML view. Is this a feature that is offered in your Communities? When writing a complex Knowledge Base article, it is often necessary to go into HTML view to do complex formatting.

Tip of the Week: Demystifying Gainsight PX Segments

Hi All!!! There has been much discussion recently about how PX Segments work and how they can be used.  Therefore, I wanted to share my experiences, insights, and recommendations in the hopes of helping many of our PX user to better understand this awesome PX feature. First off, PX Segments do NOT work the same way as Audience Logic or Report Filters. In fact, you cannot currently use PX Segments in any PX Analytics reports at all … except for this option was recently added as a potential “Step” within our Funnel Analysis report. VERY IMPORTANT: When you create a new PX Segment, it will NOT include any users at all … zero …  even if some users match the Segment Logic criteria precisely.  This is because users are only assigned to PX Segment(s) as they continue to use the PX-tracked application and achieve a “match” with the PX Segment Logic criteria.  This assignment process begins once the PX Segment is created and there is currently no type of “backfill” operation performed on non-ac

How Gainsight uses Global Context

We report on our products too! As a SaaS company, it’s important for us to understand how users experience our software, both along business and product metrics. I’d say it’s pretty great luck that we have a product within that suite geared towards understanding… well… exactly that!Like any other tech company, our reporting needs have changed over time. PX has a wonderful set of features that allow us to tackle a dynamic set of questions. Using PX for Core Web Vitals (DOM / PageSpeed / Performance) tracking?

Hello everyone,I’m curious to know if anyone else has an interest in seeing core web vitals for end-user experience on their web apps within PX?   For instance, the DCL/FCP/LCP/TBT/TTI values for page loads (like what you would see in Chrome Dev Tools on the “Performance Insights” page):  i feel like page load times and responsiveness might also be core to the product experience, and a possible supporting metric for showing/explaining feature adoption?   What are your thoughts?  Is anyone somehow pulling these types of stats together with PX analytics to help drive focus for improvement areas? cc/ @jmobley

Delay a survey pop-up?

Hi all,Is it at all possible to delay the triggering of a survey on a certain page of our tool? I would like to be able to have an NPS survey trigger after say 30 seconds so we aren’t bombarding our users the second they load a page, it will allow them to interact with little bits and then pop-up asking what they think.

Triggering multi question survey based on CSS Selector

Hello We’re attempting to trigger a multi-question survey pop-up once a user receives a “confirmation” dialog box within the application. We previously had this use case working within Pendo by using a CSS selector from within the confirmation dialog box. Does anyone know if this is possible? Or could provide advice on another way to do this Here’s additional context:Intent is to capture feedback from user on a feature flow right after they have completed using it. FlowUpon completing task, user clicks on “publish” button Clicking “Publish” button could result in error states due to incomplete information from user Hence, we do not want to trigger survey upon Publish button click as it could be premature and will become hindrance to user completing their task If all fields are successfully filled out, user will get confirmation screen (as shown in attached image) At this point we would like show user multi-question surveyAgain, via Pendo we were able to use CSS selector from the dialo
