Gainsight Feature Deprecation(Custom Rules - Deprecation Planned - 2018)

As the Gainsight application evolves and new functionality is introduced, at times, we will deprecate older features and functionality. When a deprecation is planned, we strive to provide customers with at least 3 months notice. In many cases, we’re able to provide more advance notice, so that you can learn the new features and plan how to transition your content or processes.
In the Rules Engine, we plan to deprecate the custom rule type functionality sometime in 2018. All new rules should be built with Bionic Rules, as the application will prevent the creation of new custom rules with the Fall 2017 release. For a future release, we are working on a migration utility to help Admins review and convert existing custom rules into bionic rules.
