Great job with the work here. I'm really liking the setup and how admin friendly it is now 🙂

For those with an eagle eye, you may have noticed a little glitch on the new site. Under Product Documentation, there should be a category called Administration, which contains Rules Engine, LRM, data platform & connectors content. The Administration category is mistakenly hidden on the home page, but if you search for any of those terms, you can still find the content. Our developers should have it fixed shortly.

Here's a link to access the main Administration page until it's fixed:

Very impressive.  I would still like to see the training videos library organized specifically for the type of role instead of lumping them all together.  For example, CSMs/AMs don't need to have the Rules Engine training or Marketo integration details.  Create training plans for each role and structure the resources accordingly.

Thanks for the feedback, Jeff! The training videos library needs updating quite a bit in general. We have heard from some Admins that they prefer documentation to videos. If there are specific scenarios where you or your CSMs feel videos are helpful, feel free to tell us!
Nicely done. Is it still Zendesk with a new skin or a new technology?

Thanks, Chad. It's still Zendesk with a new skin. We've seen some really cool documentation sites backed by mindtouch, so we may explore other technologies for our next reincarnation. 😉

I think the two should not be mutually exclusive.  Both videos that walk through examples of how to use features and documentation that provides more detail about the features are valuable.

A video series, supplemented by documentation, that specifically helps educate new CSMs (not admins) on how to start working with Gainsight is highly valuable.  At my company, we are gradually rolling out the use of Gainsight globally and will be needing to train new CSMs on how to use the tool on a cyclical basis.  Having short video content such as this https://vimeo.com/135888814 structured as a training plan by role and function becomes very important in helping us achieve something like this as well as drive adoption of the product.

I know that videos can be tough to maintain when you are releasing updates and changes so frequently, but they can be very valuable because some people learn better from watching videos than reading dry docs.

I was envisioning something kind of like this example from Lynda.com for Adobe Illustrator:  http://www.lynda.com/Illustrator-tutorials/Illustrator-Web-Design/108130-2.html

It features a series of short videos broken up into sections from Core Concepts down to individual functions.

Probably an ambitious idea, but sure would be valuable.

Good feedback! We've started something along those lines with the new "Getting Started" area. This section is for CSM/AMs, and includes docs and videos:  https://support.gainsight.com/hc/en-us/articles/214448638

Yep I saw that. That's from where I clicked the link to the training library. Looking forward to seeing it evolve!
