CS Roadmap Webinar Followups (June 2022)
We had a great roadmap session last week where we covered a wide range of topics across the CS platform. There will be additional sessions at Pulse and later this year if you weren’t able to attend this one.We’ll also host deep-dive sessions for the specific product areas that you all expressed interest in, so be on the lookout for those opportunities in Community soon. The two areas of most interest were the new 360 and updates to rules and data designer so we’ll schedule those sessions first.There was a significant interest in getting involved in our beta programs. Page Not Found Errors and Erroneous Email Notifications
We're currently experiencing two problems with our Gainsight Community platform: 1. When users click on some posts, they will sometimes see a "Page Not Found" message. 2. Some Community members are receiving email notifications from what appear to be other company's Community sites. We've reported these issues to our Community vendor, and will provide an update here when we have more information. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience!
July 4th Upcoming Gainsight Community Product Ideas UpdateBlog
It’s no news that Ideas are the most used service on the Community platform.But it is news, and the cat’s already been out of the bag, that we’ll now have a way to Submit Ideas specific to Product areas and be able to sort them based on Product Areas. So you won't have to scroll through the entire CS Product Ideas ocean to locate the ones on ‘Journey Orchestrator’, for e.g. WhenOn July 4th when most of us will not be using this platform, the current Ideas submission will be turned offYou will be able to submit Ideas till the day earlier, but not on July 4. The broad stepsOn July 4th, European standard time time 10am, Migration to the new home: Believe it or not We have only about 6750 ideas in the system.It is only fair that they get a house of their own on the main navigation, instead of having to scroll from the Community dropdown, and that’ll take some time. People Maps - May Release updates
Ohhh, May release is going to be lit!!We have many enhancements coming up for People Maps. Check them out.. Multiple MapsPeople maps has helped in visualizing the organizational hierarchy of a Company. Who the managers are and how the different departments are organized. But as the organization gets larger, it becomes hard to navigate through the map to identify the leaders of the departments. It is required for the User to know who the head of the department is to navigate and understand the team members.Very often we also see the need to capture an org chart the does not traverse the manager relationship. For example, during renewals you would need to work on a decision hierarchy that spans across People from different departments. The decision flow is not necessarily the manager hierarchy. Create CTAs and Timeline Activities from Slack
Hello Everyone,Sally in Slack now allows the users to create CTAs or post activities to Timeline, without logging-in to the Gainsight application. Important: Surveys Must Have Secure Sites (https) Enabled
The length of survey URLs was shortened to 32 characters in the v5.9 release, making it easier for recipients to consistently open surveys. However, if you don't enable your survey site as secure (https), the survey link will not work for your end users. In SFDC, navigate to Sites and edit your survey site settings to enable the secure https connection. Our teams are loving timeline so far. Feedback from a CSM: Its an easy way to track all of my calls that don't really have an objective or CTA that they belong in. I love that I can open it and take notes during the call then close. I wasn't able to track these before, so now my manager will be able to see how much time I'm spending on other things as well.
