People Maps - May Release updates

Ohhh, May release is going to be lit!!We have many enhancements coming up for People Maps. Check them out.. Multiple MapsPeople maps has helped in visualizing the organizational hierarchy of a Company. Who the managers are and how the different departments are organized. But as the organization gets larger, it becomes hard to navigate through the map to identify the leaders of the departments. It is required for the User to know who the head of the department is to navigate and understand the team members.Very often we also see the need to capture an org chart the does not traverse the manager relationship. For example, during renewals you would need to work on a decision hierarchy that spans across People from different departments. The decision flow is not necessarily the manager hierarchy. Need inputs -- Supporting multi-valued attributes in Connectors

I am Ritesh Sharma, a new product manager in the connectors team. One of the features that we are working on is enabling support of multi-valued attributes (or array type) in connectors. If someone is interested in sharing the use cases with me, please feel free to comment with insights. We can even set up a discussion to understand those use cases.Things that we are looking for are:1. Connector Name2. What type of multi-valued attribute is to be integrated? Is it an array of strings or array of objects?3. If it is an array of objects, a sample json would be of great help4. How is this data used in Gainsight (e.g. available in dashboard or used for reporting etc.)

Gainsight's July Releases are LIVE!

The v6.26 release is live in NXT orgs in the US as of July 3, and for EU customers on June 26.  Check out the release notes here.  For SFDC customers, the release is live in your production and sandbox orgs as of July 6. Check out the release notes here. Some highlights from this release include: IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY WITH GAINSIGHT HOME (Gainsight NXT only)Introducing the new Gainsight Home feature that helps CSMs perform their day-to-day customer success activities more effectively.Gainsight Home is a configurable composition of widgets from various Gainsight applications, including Cockpit, Adoption Explorer, Scorecards, CX Center, and more. Beta Testing Opportunity - Cockpit Calendar Integration

Hi Community! We have an exciting new feature that we are getting close to release and want to do some beta testing with some engaged end users.     Cockpit Calendar Integration     What does the feature do: It allows CSM’s to add CTA’s to their calendar as events!!  Why would they want that: CSM’s start and plan their day from the calendar. Having your important  CTA’s visible on your calendar will ensure that they don’t miss any critical due dates and better plan their day.  How can I choose what CTA’s get added to my calendar: Users can set a filter criteria for CTA’s to be automatically added to their calendar (Eg: sync all my Risk CTA’s due next week) or manually add them from Cockpit. What all can I do from the synced calendar event : User can navigate to the CTA in Gainsight directly from the calendar event. In addition to this, users can update CTA due date & CTA Name directly from the calendar. Also if CTA due-date’s are updated in Gainsight the calendar event in automatic

Timeline Attendees Issue

We are working on an issue reported by multiple customers in regards to external timeline attendees.  Our team is currently working on a fix for this, and will share updates on this thread.  Please find further information on issue and temporary fix. Issue:  Customers are unable to add external attendees to timeline activitiesTemporary Fix: Save the activity as a draft, and then re-edit the draft.  You should then be allowed to add external attendees to the activity and save. **Update**  This is resolved now and a fix has been pushed to production.

Beta Program Invitation - Zapier Integration

Upcoming User Management Changes in 6.23 Release

The following are the key highlights of User Management as a part of the 6.23 release: Internal Collaborator and External are the two new license types that will be introduced to manage users better in Gainsight instances. There will not be any extra charges for accessing these license types. ‘Unlicensed' license type will no longer be available in Gainsight. Every existing ‘Unlicensed' active user with 'Internal' system type will be assigned an Internal Collaborator license. All ‘Unlicensed' active users with ‘External' system type will be assigned an External license. While importing users from external systems or Salesforce, users' status (active/inactive) will be honored. (Only applicable to Salesforce) Gainsight users' (who're added from Salesforce) license type will be updated based on the permission sets assigned to them in Salesforce.
