Email tokens in Email Assist

Email assist does not allow for pulling tokens unless it is coming from objects such as Account, customer info etc. Customers want the email tokens in Email Assist to have the same flexibility as that of a JO where you can pull fields from opportunity and other objects looking upto an account. Any effort being made in that direction?
