Have column width settings persist on Customers page

Related products: CS 360 Company & Relationships

If you adjust the column widths on the Customers page, it would be great to have that setting persist; i.e., if you navigate to another page and then back to the Customers page, it would remember your column width adjustments.
This would be a HUGE addition for us. Every little detail that makes adoption easier should be pursued and this would go a long way towards increasing the value for our customer success team.
+1 on this idea!  Have heard this from other customers as well.
We have consistently heard the need to persist column width on a tabular report and optionally also allow the admin configure the default widths on a tabular report so that the first load experience in 360 is optimized.

While we do not have an ETA now, this is definitely on our Roadmap.
Thank you for the feedback, Sidhu!
Hi Gainsight Product Team, Any update on having column width persist on tabular reports?  I was speaking with some awesome CSMs this morning & they're all interested in anything that would help improve the use of real estate on their C360 page and this is one item that would help.  Thanks!
This is very much needed both on view and reports.
Enthusiastic thumbs up for column width. I looks ridiculous that the date field is really wide while other columns are squashed.
Hi everyone, the following functionality has been rolled out over the past few releases

1) By default columns shrink to fit. This is based on filed type. This is existing functionality that has been there for a while.

2) Now in report builder, you can adjust the width of the columns. You can both expand and contract. This is sticky so every use will see this. A few things to note though

3) If you expand, it only expands upto a point that is warranted based on the width of data in column. E.g. if you expand a date column (which is only 8 characters) it will ignore this.

4) When you expand a column, columns whose width is not manually adjusted will shrink slightly (since the remaining space is divided equally). Based on number of columns expanded it may introduce a horizontal scroll when the report loads. If, as admin, you want to control exactly the width of each column, you need to change width manually (even slightly) in report builder. In the future we'll look to make the auto-fit functionality smarter making it based on length of real data in the report vs type of field.

5) End users can of course change the width of any column. Unlike the changes in #2 - #4, these are not sticky/persisted
wrt #5, would be great if they were "sticky/persisted" though.
