Using CoPilot to send product metrics

Is there a way I can integrate my company's app with CoPilot to automatically mail out regular performance updates to clients on how our tool is working for them?

There are a couple options you have:
1.  You can use an external event to trigger an outreach to Advanced Outreach and send to customers (this would assume that you want the trigger of when to send the email to come from your app)

2.  You can embed Gainsight reports into Copilot emails and send on a scheduled basis (this assumes you are populated GS with key performance usage data from your app, e.g. using S3 connector or API)
