Sorting numeric values in rule results– respect place value

Being able to preview rule results from bionic rule runs without having to download a csv is awesome.

It would really be helpful, though, if when sorting numbers within the preview, place values were
respected.

example of how sorting works today:

This gets pretty confusing to look at while QAing/ testing rules.

Hi Pele, out of curiosity, what data type is that field? Is it a text string or number? I've seen that behavior when numbers are stored as text, as in your screenshot, that's correct text sorting (even if it's not correct number sorting).

Thanks, Dan! This field in the screenshot is a number field. It is one that I ran a simple transformation on– just group by Relationship, but I checked the source for the transformation as well, and the sorting behaves the same in the results preview for that dataset.

And thanks for the note on sorting text fields containing numbers– makes sense.

Cheers,
