Push Notifications in Gainsight

I would like to see Gainsight feature a more proactive notification process. I realize this is a pretty large-scale proposition that would fundamentally change the product, but I (and hopefully others!) think it would be worth it. 

Currently, a Gainsight end-user has to consciously navigate to individual tabs within Gainsight to find their notifications. You have to go to the Gainsight home tab to view a dashboard that might have critical information, you have to go to Cockpit to see any CTAs that have been assigned to you, and you have to go to a customer's C360 page to dive deeper into issues. 

What I'd like to see is actually simple in theory. Much like Twitter, Facebook, etc., we would have a notifications button that users could simply click to see what's new since they last logged in. In fact, we already have a notifications button! It just isn't used for my proposed purpose of course.



Right now, our built-in notifications process is pretty limited and doesn't really work for relationships use cases at all. I'm also aware that we can technically cobble something like this together via Journey Orchestrator, but that is a pretty manual and potentially cumbersome process. 

Functionality like I'm proposing would ideally solve for that and also immensely improve the UX for our users and admins.
