Hi There,

I have been speaking to your support team and they have recommended I ask my question here for tomorrow’s sessions.

I’m from Phorest (phorestgs.gainsightcloud.com)

Currently, our customers fill out a survey where they rate their onboarding experience with us as Extremely Easy, Easy, Difficult or Extremely Difficult". This is then passed through to Gainsight and is stored as the "Survey Score” in the dataset "CES Survey".

However, in order to calculate an overall numeric score, I have to extract the results from Gainsight and assign them a numeric value to do a calculation with.

So Extremely Easy and Easy would be assigned 1 and Difficult and Extremely Difficult would be assigned -1.

I would then calculate Extremely Easy + Easy + Difficult + Extremely Difficult / count of responses x 100 to give a numeric score.

So what I am wondering is, is it possible to do this all within Gainsight?

My thought was to create a new field "CES Numeric Score" and run a rule where if the "Survey Score" is Easy or Extremely Easy, the "CES Numeric Score" is 1 and if it is Difficult or Extremely Difficult, the "CES Numeric Score" is -1.

From there, I'm wondering could I create a formula field where I can calculate Extremely Easy + Easy + Difficult + Extremely Difficult based on "CES Numeric Score" and then calculate the total responses within that by filtering by a time period to ultimately give me the same result as the sheet.
