Person Object and Relationships
We have just launched the Person object - very excited about this and more features coming soon! Is there currently a way to be able to assign multiple relationships to each contact? We also have Relationships live in each C360 and I would like our CSMs to be able to assign different relationships to each contact. For example: Customer ABC has three R360s - Blue, Green and Red John works for ABC but he is only involved in Blue and Green, never Red. Is it possible to add a field in Person section in C360 that would allow to select the two relationships and assign them to John? Our R360s refresh on daily basis so aren't a static list, at the same time we have over 500 relationships so I would like to be able to have a drop-down list for CSM to use, rather than typing the actual names/relationship IDs directly. The main objectives of this are: - ability to see which contacts belong to which relationships - something we don't have yet - direct various datasets
Join MDA Tables On Date Field
I have a use case in which I would like to be join together two MDA tables based on a "Date" Field. For context, I am capturing things like "Daily tickets created, Resolution, Bugs, etc." at both the Micro (customer level) and the Macro (org level) as a snapshot in the MDA. While my Micro table has an account ID the Macro table shouldn't, which is by design. My thought process here was that I could Join Macro -> Micro on "Date" which is the common field in both tables. The use case here would be that I could create one singular report and overlay (for example) the specific customers daily "Average Overall Resolution" time vs. our overall customer bases "Average Overall Resolution" time is. I can do this in two reports today, would just rather have it in one singular report.
For the S3 Connector, is the ability to ingest compressed files, like GZip, coming?
Interested to know (after talking with some data engineers getting ready to push data to a connected S3 bucket): Does Gainsight have plans to add some common file compression/decompression options? In this case, allowing an encrypted GZIP file to be uncompressed after decrypting? Just passing the question/suggestion from a newer Gainsight customer that I couldn't answer - thanks!

Connectors within Gainsight to SQL Servers
We are currently able to access different reports/pivot tables in Excel that are connected directly to our data warehouse allowing us to simply 'refresh' as needed. Being able to replicate this same functionality within Gainsight would allow us to create the rules and reports that are more easily 'real time' indicators of customer behaviors. Is something like this on the roadmap or is a capability today?
Integrations: Data Load Configuration - how long does the aggregation step take?
I am trying to reload some usage data for our product into an object located in the [b]Data Management[/b] [b]section[/b] (the data loaded before had errors), and then I am running the aggregation step from the [b]Integration section[/b]. But I have noticed really big differences in the time it takes for the integration to end, although I have a similar number of lines that are aggregated. It can take from several minutes to several hours, and I don't understand why. It's really hindering my work, because I don't know what I can count on.
Integrating Gainsight Database with Periscope
Is it possible to integrate Periscope with Gainsight? Our organization integrates Periscope with SFDC so that we can join tables between SalesForce and our internal database. It would be nice to have the same access to the Gainsight MDA so that we can also join/aggregate on items that are native to gainsight, such as activity or journey orchestrator/survey information.
Object Not Found reported by Gainsight Analyzer - Is there any easy to find where this object is loc
I scanned a rule using Gainsight Analyzer. One the alerts was that an object was not found. I can see in the results that it is a MDA type object and the object name is something machine readable but gives me little to go on to understand where this object is located and why it might be missing. Is there an easy way to query by object name within Data Management?

Gainsight Data - Connect to Domo
Has anyone been able to push their Gainsight data into Domo? Our team has an ongoing initiative to push our data into Domo for dashboards/reporting, but Domo does not yet offer a Gainsight connector. I've been told it's possible to do it through a Bionic rule that pushes the data into the S3 connector and then into Domo. If anyone has done this before, your input would be greatly appreciated! Compare old/new data when updating a MDA Object
I ́m updating a MDA Object thru Bulk API from a CSV file, but i need to compare the old data and the new, how can i do that? For example: Send my CSV file containing: Client: Dell Available licences: 50 Used licences: 20 Then, a month later i send my CSV file again: Client: Dell Available licenses: 50 Used licenses: 15 It ́s important for us to be aware of this decrease when updating the object, is that possible?
I need help to intergrate the Fresh Desk ticket data into Gainsight. The intergration idea was to use a SFDC and get the information into Gainsight that way. When i ́m creating a job i have two options of separator: Comma and semicolon, but i can only fetch the mappings with a CSV file using comma. Not able to view data under User list under User management as a Gainsight admin
As s Gainsight Admin I'm not able to view and check the current Gainsight Users Under the User Management feature. I've been told by Gainsight support that We need to have SFDC admin permissions. As Gainsight admin, we should be at-least able to view the Gainsight Licensed Users under the User List. Has anyone else observed this? Thanks! ~Lokesh
Changing the Start of the Week Day in Usage Configuration
I am looking for the process to follow and what potential risks are to changing the "Start of the Week" day in Usage Configuration. When I first changed the day, all usage data disappeared from under Adoption pane. If day is changed, is it simply a matter of rerunning load to usage rules to repopulate data under new start of the week labels? Thank you for any advice and recommendations.
Special characters when creating new object in Data Management from .csv

Removed upsert identifiers in S3 also get unmapped
I think I just discovered either a bug or something that at the very least needs to be made much clearer than it currently is. A customer of mine changed the configuration of one of their S3 jobs, which led to us removing two of the three identifiers in the upsert configuration. The issue is that removing those two upsert identifiers also caused those two fields to be unmapped in the field mapping, even though we are still mapping those two fields in the job. This caused the job to fail and for us to troubleshoot and figure out the root cause. Seems odd to automatically unmap those fields in this scenario.
Is it possible to view when a specific field was updated?

I've traced the issue in the above link to a missing/inactive/broken data ingest. We're not updating our Opportunity Close Date with the close date from the newest/future open opportunity. Before I dive into adding this ingest, is it possible to see when this specific field was last ingested into Gainsight (i.e. when the Opportunity Close Date cell in the MDA for, example, client "Company X" was last updated)? I want to confirm that this field [b][i][u]is not currently being updated[/u][/b][i][u][/u][u][/u] before adding the ingest. Also, our CCO mentioned that last time the previous a
Assign Gainsight License in Sandbox
Hi. we have a new person that will handle Gainsight, and I assigned her a license in Production. We don't want her touching the data in Prod until she learns the ropes, so I had to create her in our full sandbox because we're in between refreshes. When I tried to assign a Gainsight license in the Full sandbox, I didn't see the Manage Licenses link under the Installed Packages section like I do in Production. Is there a way to assign licenses in the full sandbox, or do I have to wait for a refresh? Thanks, Joe
