Hi Team, We have a customer who is asking to provide an exact error message in the dynamic connector logs , when the jobs are failing. Current reason showin in UI: Job failed with Error code: Extraction Failure. Please contact Gainsight support. Expected reason to show in UI : Example: The refresh token has expired due to inactivity for 90 days Reason for change: To understand the root cause and fix it from UI iteself. Best, Hardik
My organization is wanting to implement sponsor tracking. I understand that sponsor tracking allows us to receive notifications, CTAs, and create reports on activities of these sponsors, such as moving roles or companies, but what other ways can we utilize sponsor tracking? For example, will sponsor tracking integrate with the new org. chart feature? Are there other ways your company is using sponsor tracking?
I have just created an object in the MDA Data Management section, based on a .csv. And the system has automatically set-up some default data types, many of them Boolean instead of number, and I've realized that only after the object was created. Now I need to change the type, but I cannot do that. So I have to send a ticket to delete this object and start all over again.
Hi! We are exploring using the Relationship Contact object to drive outreach for our contacts instead of relying on messy Salesforce data. I am struggling to find where I can even edit the fields on this object as I do not see it in Data Management. There is an object for Relationship Person but not for Relationship Contact. I would like to be able to customize the Role field to be a dropdown rather than a text string. Is there a way I can customize the fields on this object to make it work for our needs and drive outreach from it?
Connectors area in Gainsight seems to be unstable. More often than should be acceptable I come into Connectors area and it refuses to load… What can be done so that this is more stable/reliable? I’ve already moved Company Person syncs out of Connectors… guess I’m gonna have to move them all out.
Is there any way to identify company key/primary contact?We have a usecase where we want to auto send email from GS program to only one contact per company/account who have attended ABR call. For ex. we can create new field under “Company Person” object of boolean type “Is Primary Contact” and if there is already any contact present which is marked as “primary contact” then it should not allow user to make any second contact as primary. (only any one contact can be marked as primary contact per account).
I am exploring the linkage possible between ZenDesk and Gainsight and I can't find the "Assignee" field in the report creation section of Gainsight. Am I missing something or could the answer be that the Assignee field isn't being synced properly? If the latter is true, how do I go about resolving that issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Team, Customer has reached out on the unavailability of default values on success plans fields. I reached out to the Success Plans team and they have confirmed that the default values won’t reflect as per the product set-up. As a follow-up questions, customer wants to know the other areas where the default values that are set on fields won’t reflect.I can find from the community post that dependent picklist too doesn’t support the default values as we may have a contradiction between Controlling field and the dependent field. Could you please share more information as to where else the default values won’t reflect?

We're just configuring our Zendesk-SFDC feed, and It looks like 'ZD-org to SFDC-Account' linking is currently manual, with the help center suggesting auto-linking is a roadmap item. To future proof & be ready for auto-linking, there is a specific field in zendesk where we should be populating the Unique ID we use to match SFDC, platform etc to a Gainsight record?

I am currently having issues with the Sponsor Tracking feature. It works only intermittently so for some users within certain accounts I am unable to select a profile and track the sponsor. This is the procedure I follow: Go into the account > sponsor tracking tab > no sponsor is tracked, therefore I click on + Sponsor > choose the user > click on track (under action column) > a pop up window opens and it keeps on loading > after a while it says "Unable to process request at this moment, please try later." > if I input the linkedin URL I am unable to click on search. I have tried for multiple days in a row and every day the same error message appears. What can I do to make sure the sponsor is tracked?
Has anyone managed to successfully set up an S3 ingest job so that it notifies you via Slack when it completes? I've been trying to set it up on the Schedule page of the Ingest Job and have tried several variations (With headers, without headers, with HTTPS, with HTTP, etc.) but always end up with the "Test Failed. Please check the URL." message. I have Slack notifications set up just fine in my other systems, so I know the URL is correct. Hello! I am working with our Business Intelligence team to import our historical customer health data into our data warehouse to be paired up with a variety of other datasets . We have done this with other MDA tables (NPS specifically), but have recently had some staff turnover leaving us without the knowledge on how-to do that. Our BI team says they just need the API names of the object and fields to make the connection. Is there an easy way to download the schema? Thank you!
We need to perform simple calculations ((X + Y * Z) * 100) on data that is stored in the Usage Data object. We've been able to use calculated fields in the rules engine to write short-term and long-term moving averages back to the Usage Data object, but no matter what we try we cannot write those same values to an MDA table (where we need it to perform additional calculations on). Is there some limitation we need to be aware of, and more importantly a way to do what we need?

I'm looking to upsert records into an MDA object from a CSV via the "Import Data" function. However, you are only able to perform [b]insert [/b]operations here. Does anyone have a good workaround to upsert from a CSV into an MDA object? Would I have to upload to our S3 bucket?

We were previously able to upload our contacts in a CSV with custom fields and bulk upload changes via S3 to the contacts object on the Gainsight SFDC standalone enivronment. Since migrating to the NXT platform, Support confirmed that there is no ability to bulk upload changes to contacts in Company Person and therefore manually applying the changes via the UI with specific data changes is extremely cumbersome. Refer to #82945 for more details. Can we please raise an enhancement to this problem?
