I tried to use the new Data Management Beta today - added a few custom fields to a custom object. When I saved it - the schema does not show the new fields I added in the beta. When I switched to the current Data Management UI - the fields I created under beta are showing here. Is there a trick to having the field list refresh in the beta?
Hi there,Gainsight newbie here and slowly getting the hang of things! We use the timeline on the C360 to add risks as an activity type. I was wondering if anyone had any experience in setting up a connection with this in a slack channel? Ideally I would like it so that every time a new risk is added, our account managers can see this in the slack channel, is this possible?I have spoken with GS support on this and sadly I am really struggling to get a clear answer!
Folks, I am trying to delete a connection that is no longer used, but apparently, it has some field dependencies to it. So, it won’t be deleted. This is the error message as follows:Error occurred while deleting connection. Connection have one or more projects associated with it.Would anyone know a workaround to delete the connection?Thank you in advance!
Is there a way to track a Gainsight account to Salesforce account that is linked to a different Salesforce account. Or - is there a better way to get around this situation? We need to figure a way to have the new brand have its own GS account and fire CTAs even though there is no Salesforce account Company A is the parent account of multiple brands we work with: Company A, Company B, Company C and now Company D. The Comany A account in Salesforce used to represent Company A only, and separately to this, we had a Salesforce account for Company B, and a Salesforce account for Company C. This worked well with Gainsight, where they each had their ARR, their CTAs, and their usage and so on. We have now brought a new brand on board: Company D. They signed on the same paper as the other brands and were therefore merged to the Company A account in Salesforce, instead of having their own separate account. This is causing issues for CS, as Company, a brand new customer, don't have their o
First off, it was great to see more data designer like functionality being put into this connector. Hopefully one day we will just have one tool to pull data in and transform it. While we really like the new transform capability in this connector, it would be great to have more of the data designer like capability. This includes doing group by, previews, and numeric expression derived fields. Are there plans to continue to enhance this connector with more of this capability?
Hi,I am trying to create a calculated field that will take today’s date and then calculate the difference between that and the renewal date (in the future) that is held against the opportunity in SFDC (is already pulled into GS).i.e. if the renewal date was 02/08/2023, it would calculate that this is 31 days in the future and populate the field with “31”. Has anyone set this, or something similar, up before?I will be putting this against the “Overview” section of a Success Plan.Cheers!
Our CSM group is implementing a new contact center software that integrates with Salesforce. This integration will work heavily in cases. Our management is looking for ways for our CSM team to track all interaction and work in both Gainsight and SFDC. What we would like to know is if there is a way to take our automated CTA’s that are triggered off of our scorecard and have those create a case in Salesforce as well as the tracked activity in Gainsight? Thank you.
Hi there Team,I asked this question on the inSpired Community by inSided (see original thread) and was redirected here.Basically, within Zapier, I want to create a Step where Gainsight Checks if a new inSided contact is an actual customer (e.g. within Stage Retention, Onboarding, etc.) See full question here:Hi there everyone,Our inSided community is open for anybody to sign up, but we always assign a “customer” custom role to our customers because there is some gated content that only customers can see.Our moderation team spends up to 1h each day manually checking newly registered customers and manually assigning custom roles. To check if somebody is a customer or not, we look on Gainsight (our customer CRM😎), in order to see if that email address is linked to a customer. Is there any way to automate this with zapier?I envision it like this:Trigger: New member registers on insided Zapier checks if that email can be found on gainsight if it can be found, check if it belongs to a curre
I have just created an object in the MDA Data Management section, based on a .csv. And the system has automatically set-up some default data types, many of them Boolean instead of number, and I've realized that only after the object was created. Now I need to change the type, but I cannot do that. So I have to send a ticket to delete this object and start all over again.
We recently started utilizing People Maps and are super excited about it, though there are a few things I'm hoping to get some feedback/advice on:

Delay in updating/adding contacts in Salesforce to create new records in the Person object:

Currently, we have a rule set up to pull in new/updated contacts from Salesforce into the Person object
We have it running at the highest frequency according to the Rule Scheduling documentation, which is every 2 hours
This is fine for most rules, but it becomes problematic when we're trying to update or add contacts into Salesforce so that we can use them immediately in People Maps or to map Timeline entries to a specific contact
Main ask: Is there any possibility for rule scheduling to be expanded beyond the current 2 hour limitation? I'm also open to any ideas on how to overcome this limiation in the short-run!

People Maps requires a contact to exist in Person object, which requ
Hi Team, One of our customers is looking for integration of Office 365 suite apps with Gainsight, specifically PowerBI and Sharepoint, but others will likely be close behind. Do we have this planned currently in the roadmap for NXT tenant with Office 365? Best, Hardik
Trying to follow the document listed on the FAQ https://support.gainsight.com/Rules_Engine/Admin_Guides/Load_to_Person_Model_using_Rules_Engine_Action_Types#Setup_Load_to_Company_Person_Action_Type I am trying to create a rule to select a few contacts from SFDC and load it into Gainsight. The setup rule works just fine but when I go to the Setup Action click on + Action and select "Load to Company Person" I get a beautiful dialog box something I have never seen before It is completely blank but has an OK button on it. If I click OK it does not take me to the mapping box instead I get [img]https://d1qy7qyune0vt1.cloudfront.net/gainsight-en/attachment/ScreenSh
When adding a milestone, the drop-down year field only goes back to 2015. In order to add a date prior to 2015, we must select 'January' from the month field, '2015' from the year field and then press the arrow to the left of the month in order to get the previous year. The drop-down year column does not immediately update accordingly. When I exit the milestone creation and go back in, I can see the last year that I navigated to via the arrow. However, the cached years do not stay accessible for the customer when exiting and returning to the C360 screen nor are the years available for any other customer. So in essence, in essence, we'll need to finagle the year list each time we add a milestone. While

When scanning a rule from Gainsight Analyzer, the results show that "The filter "Apply to Gainsight customer" is missing." But examining the Rule Query shows that the box for "Apply to Gainsight customers only" is checked.
Hello All, One of our Customer Success managers reported the attached error message when viewing an IC/Relationship record in Gainsight production. I’m not aware of what this error is referring to, seems pretty vague to me, so I was wondering if you can help me figure this out. I entered a filter to pull last 60 days and get 0 records. So I noticed new filters on table and added a filter there and it doesn't appear to apply. I say to bring everything from 7/1 forward and still see April date directly below as well as other before 7/1. Am I misunderstanding what these are for? Has anyone managed to successfully set up an S3 ingest job so that it notifies you via Slack when it completes? I've been trying to set it up on the Schedule page of the Ingest Job and have tried several variations (With headers, without headers, with HTTPS, with HTTP, etc.) but always end up with the "Test Failed. Please check the URL." message. I have Slack notifications set up just fine in my other systems, so I know the URL is correct.
