While creating calculated fields in MDA object. Complete field names are not displayed we need to hover on the field to know the value. The fields are also not displayed in a sorted order. If i have many number fields then creating a calculated field becomes a time taking task
We are currently able to access different reports/pivot tables in Excel that are connected directly to our data warehouse allowing us to simply 'refresh' as needed. Being able to replicate this same functionality within Gainsight would allow us to create the rules and reports that are more easily 'real time' indicators of customer behaviors. Is something like this on the roadmap or is a capability today?
Anyone else seeing this error message? Error message manifests within Zendesk on the Gainsight App. For one reason or another just today, the Gainsight App stopped working in our instance of Zendesk. Causing headaches since we are just ramping up and cannot link accounts in an adhoc fashion. When adding a milestone, the drop-down year field only goes back to 2015. In order to add a date prior to 2015, we must select 'January' from the month field, '2015' from the year field and then press the arrow to the left of the month in order to get the previous year. The drop-down year column does not immediately update accordingly. When I exit the milestone creation and go back in, I can see the last year that I navigated to via the arrow. However, the cached years do not stay accessible for the customer when exiting and returning to the C360 screen nor are the years available for any other customer. So in essence, in essence, we'll need to finagle the year list each time we add a milestone. While
I was trying to create a CoPilot power list using Data Spaces, but but it gives me an error "No account reference found in 'OPS: Tasks and Actions'.Create a account lookup to Salesforce Account object to proceed." I opened a support ticket and was told "This is already a known issue. Our Product team has prioritized this issue and plan to make the fix available in the December Patch release."
Currently we are allowing users to change data type of a field through COM if there is no data in the object. But this change is happening only in Mongo and not in the redshift table. Because of this, there are lot of errors through out S3 and data load API connectors. I believe that this should either be disabled or handled properly. Once the redshift table is created, we should disable data type conversion even if there is no data. Or when the data type conversion is made through COM, we should automatically create a new column with same name and the required data type, and then delete the older field. Or we should have a flag that shows if there is any mismatch between data types between Mongo and Redshift tables.
I have created a new table to store a file with some daily usage data, and I would like for the file to be uploaded automatically to this table. When Gainsight was implemented in my company a cURL was given to the Product Analytics department to be able upload data automatically into MDA. But now I don't know where the cURL is. Has something changed? Before: After:
I have just created an object in the MDA Data Management section, based on a .csv. And the system has automatically set-up some default data types, many of them Boolean instead of number, and I've realized that only after the object was created. Now I need to change the type, but I cannot do that. So I have to send a ticket to delete this object and start all over again.
I'm trying to pull a report of customers and their responses to a specific customer. I'm using Data Spaces and the Survey Allowed Answers object. I'm able to add in the information I want, but when I go to report on it, the fields I need info from (account object fields) are showing up as not having any. Any one else having issues with this? This is relatively minor but thought I'd point out that GS documentation incorrectly states that Data Spaces is located under Administration -> Analytics, when it appears under Administration -> Operations (at least in my org) https://support.gainsight.com/Product_Documentation/Data_Management_and_Integrations/Data_Spaces/Data_Space_Creation_and_Consumption https://support.gainsight.com/Product_Documentation/Data_Management_and_Integrations/Data_Spaces/Tut...
I have created a new object in MDA to store a series of contacts, but the Swedish special characters show some errors: Could this be fixed?
I have MDA table to store usage data. I'm doing some calculations based on this table and when I see a drop in one of the usage elements I want to create a CTA and assign it to the CSM of the account. I did a join between the MDA to the Account object but when joining the tables the CSM field is not a lookup anymore and I can't use it to assign the CTA. Does anyone know a workaround for this problem? Thanks, Aviv.
Hi, I created a new MDA table to store product usage data and I want to be able to configure fields as identifiers of the table. I want 'Account ID' and 'Date' to be the identifiers of the table. How can I do that? When creating the table I didn't see an option for that. Also, Data Load Configuration is used to push data to MDA object? If I'm using the Rules Engine in order to store data to my MDA on a daily basis, do I need to use the data load configuration as well? Thanks, Aviv.

Hi Community! We are gauging interest in a WalkMe Integration with Gainsight. Please vote for this post if you'd like to see a WalkMe Integration and provide details in the comments for what you'd like to see! Currently we are looking at pulling in interaction data with WalkMe Guides/Messages into Gainsight. Any additional use caes?
I was eager to try out the calculated field/formula feature in MDA that was just released, but for some reason when I create a Number field on an object in my sandbox, the Calculated Field appears but it is not selectable and I cannot click Create Formula. Anyone else encounter this or just me?
I raised this issue to support, but figured I'd come to the community as well in case I get a quicker response. I want to enable an MDA table to use joins, but do not seem to have the capability on a particular table. This document https://support.gainsight.com/Product_Documentation/Data_Management_and_Integrations/Managing_Data_I... says "Note: Currently, we support creation of lookup relation only on MDA objects for which joins are allowed." But it does not tell me how to enable joins on an MDA table where Allow Joins is set to false. I cannot seem to find this explained anywhere else either. Hopefully I have just overlooked it. See attached image. Support Health Scorecard table shows Joins Allowed = true, but Predictive Health Scorecard shows Joins Allowed = false. Any guidance? [img]https://d1qy7qyune0vt1.cloudfront.ne
I am trying to reload some usage data for our product into an object located in the Data Management section (the data loaded before had errors), and then I am running the aggregation step from the Integration section. But I have noticed really big differences in the time it takes for the integration to end, although I have a similar number of lines that are aggregated. It can take from several minutes to several hours, and I don't understand why. It's really hindering my work, because I don't know what I can count on.
I think this just changed with the recent update, but in my Zendesk ticket object in C360 the ticket numbers are no longer URL's. Was this done on purpose? It was very helpful to be able to click on a ticket number that automatically opens the ticket in Zendesk so we could we could update the ticket. Can we get this functionality back? Taking the URL away seems like a step in the wrong direction as far as convenience goes.
