Syncing CTA status "In Progress" with task statusResponse from Customer
Our team often indicates "In Progress" for one or more CTA tasks. Which they then have to also update the overall CTA status. It would be a nice UI feature to have the CTA automatically update to "In Progress" when any task was set to this.
Using fiscal quarter in the MDAResponse from Customer
Hello I did some due diligence, looked in Community and Support, asked GS Support, so I think my understanding and request are good. If you are reporting against a SFDC object, you have the option to add filters for "Current Calendar Quarter" or "Current Fiscal Quarter", which can be very different for some orgs. However, when targeting an MDA object for reporting, I can only do "Current Quarter", which shows CALENDAR YEAR only. Can we add an option for Fiscal Year?
Bionic Rules Included in SnapshotsResponse from Customer
Can we have Bionic rules included in the Gainsight Snapshots? I just downloaded a snapshot of our instance of Gainsight and realized bionic rules are not included in the report. Ever since bionic rules were created, we have slowly been transitioning our rules over. Now about half our rules are bionic, and without them the snapshot is much less usable than it was.
Allow admin to select Company Person Connector upsert keyResponse from Customer
Need the ability to select more than just the email address as the upsert key on the the Company Person connector job. Probably works great if you have clean upstream Contact data, but unfortunately we don’t and it’s out of CS control at this point. Getting a lot of “duplicate” failures in the sync job because, yes, we have duplicate contacts on SFDC records. But because of these duplicate failures, the “wrong” contacts are getting synced to Company Person causing discrepancies.I believe there are other admins out there with a similar need, for various use cases.Should be up to the Admin to select the Upsert Key/Key Combination for their particular environment.
Rule chain for Cron Expression schedulesResponse from Customer
Hello Team, It would be great if we could filter out all the rules that are scheduled for a specific cron expression. For instance say 2 hours. Also along with filtering could we have a rule chain that brings together the rules based on cron job. This would allow us to ensure they run in a specific order. Regards, Jahnavi
Date Filters in Email VariantsResponse from Customer
The advanced logic for email variant filters is great! We have been able to simplify our email processes significantly with them. However, I would suggest making date fields available as options to filter by. We have variants of an email that simply need to be filtered by whether a date field is populated or not. I haven't seen this possibility anywhere, but I am more than happy to be proven wrong.
Allow customizable Zendesk widget similar C360Response from Customer
It is today possible to customize the views in salesforce for C360 and add different sections/widget and customize layout assignment by filters. Need this functionality on the zendesk widget. Use case: We have various support teams that require different sets of summarized data visible on their c360 page. Today's one view for all doesn't give us the flexibility to deal with these variations.
[Enhancement] Abilty to force a Success Plan Name Schema when creating new success plansResponse from Customer
It would be helpful to provide functionality when a Success Plan is created you could format the name oin a semi-automate fashion...such as: Success Plan Type “Get to Green” Date is 2020-05-20 The Success Plan Name could fill with: Abatement May 20, 2020 That the user could then add a suffix to. Don’t forced this to all (PLEASE), but make it a possibility.
Option to notify if 0 results success for Rules EngineResponse from Customer
I think it would be cool if there was a 3rd option for notifications in Rules. Right now, we provide "On Success" and "On Failure" emails, but what if we did a "On Zero (0) results" option. My thinking here is, perhaps you consider 0 results a failure. But we treat 0 results as a success. However, most people don't want to get, and don't have the time to parse through, one email for every rule they have for the success emails. Even if they focused solely on the rules that they wanted a success email for capturing 0 results, its still not really a "success". Also, the look/messaging of the email could be changed to reflect its a run with zero results, therefore bringing attention to a rule that really ran unsuccessfully, potentially because of a failure further up the data chain. This would make sure that we are managing from a true workflow/business process flow standpoint, rather than just individual rules/rule chains.
Success Plans Modify Date updated when CTA or Timeline associated is updatedResponse from Customer
It would be great for the modified date on the Success Plan to be based on max date of a timeline entry or CTA modification. We are trying to encourage CSMs to update the CTAs and Timeline entries to help us track how often they are interacting with the plan. Right now, the modify date only updates when you close the plan, which is not a true reflection of how often a CSM is interacting with the plan.
Can we please have an undo button within the email templates?Response from Customer
There are many times that the changes that I have just made within an email template are not what I wanted and I would like to click UNDO. Can we get this added to the list of enhancements to the email templates?
Cockpit - Configure List View - Add FieldsResponse from Customer
It would be helpful if you could add configuration to be able to define the order of fields in the cockpit list view. While it is great to have the fields chosen saved between sessions...having the order set would be helpful. Multiple new customers have brought this up.
Survey Analytics/Reports on DashboardsResponse from Customer
The reports in the Survey Analytics tool are incredibly useful but are often impossible to replicate using Report Builder. We have matrix style questions or multiple choice questions that, when in Report Builder, come out looking awkward, or multiple selections are separated by commas instead of being counted as individual responses towards a percentage. I think the survey reports should be available to add to dashboards as they are, rather than having to go rebuild with the data using several unrelated objects in Report Builder
Unsubscribe users from within GainsightResponse from Customer
Hello, I'm working with a customer who is wanting the ability to unsubscribe their customers from Copilot outreaches. Currently, the only way to accomplish this is for the email recipient to unsubscribe via the email link. Is there any future plan to allow users to unsubscribe their customers from Copilot Outreaches via the Gainsight UI? Thanks
Success Plan, CTA, and Timeline - Update RulesResponse from Customer
We have many, many customers who have needs to update these very critical objects: (1) CTA; (2) Success Plans; (3) Timeline from a bionic rule and there is limited/no ability to do so. Please make this available. The needs arise when you build out processes and need to trigger changes due to other updates. Rules does a great job of finding what the update should be, but there is no ability for this.
Allow CTA and Success Plan Due Dates based on Account Date fieldsResponse from Customer
Currently when assigning a Success Plan Objective, you are given the option to make the due date "the assign date + X days" We are mapping our success plans with objectives quarterly around renewal dates and if we auto fire them all now, they will all be off on dates. If we could assign the due date based on an account or customer info date field that would help keep our CSMs on track.
Ability to have a Parent Task within Success PlansResponse from Customer
Our use case is specific to adding sub tasks within the Success Plans. Today we have a Success Plan created but need a way to have a mor granular view within the the Objective. So the request is to have the ability to add a sub -task to the Task within a specific Objective. This will allow our CSMs to call out the specific action the they are taking with a customer product, for example. This should also show within the Gannt chart as a sub component to the task.
Ability to add a new line in concatenate functionResponse from Customer
Team, We have a customer using the text “Concat” function in the Rule Transformations. But unable to introduce a new line character between the fields. They want to display each field in a different line. We have tried to implement by setting the \n & “\n” in between fields of contact function but that deosn’t worked out.
Allow split string formula in Rules EngineResponse from Customer
I've come across a scenario where I need to parse out values contained in a multipicklist and have discovered that I don't have a good way of doing this in the Rules Engine. I can do a LEFT substring and a RIGHT substring, but for any scenario where the value is A;B;C;D - I don't have a way to grab the B and C values. Can we please introduce a split string formula to take care of this use case?
Make it possible to see when rules were run historicallyResponse from Customer
I've searched far and wide, and right now it appears that there is no visibility to see when we run rules historically (unless I'm missing some mysterious part of the Rules Engine). It would be nice to be able to go into the Execution History section of a rule and not only see when the rule was run (which is available right now of course), but also what date it was run from. My use case is that I'm running a weekly rule chain historically for the past 8 weeks, so I've run the rule chain eight times, with the run date being each Saturday going back to mid-January. However, the Execution history only shows today's date. I have no visibility into the actual run date. Thanks.
Mass Edit and Delete Options Not Available for Success PlansResponse from Customer
Our team has begun to utilize success plans more often and have hit a couple of major road blocks compared to CTA administration. 1. There isn't a rule option to delete or close success plans 2. We can use mass edit to change the assignees for the individual objectives but there is no way to mass edit/update the plan owner These two issues have made it pretty cumbersome to manage existing success plans.
Add Automated/Manual field to Customer StagesResponse from Customer
We have some of our customer stage changes automated via rule in GonG. We'd like to be able to prevent users from being able to manually update to the stages that we have automated. Ideally you would be able to mark if they're automated vs manual in the Stage Config section and automated stages would not show up as an option when manually changing the stage.
Conditional Statements in FiltersResponse from Customer
Can we get conditional (If/else if/else) statements in filters? AND and OR logic is helpful, but it would be great to have conditional logic as well. It is true that some if statements can be handled with some fancy and/or groupings, but this would allow greater flexibility on what to include or exclude. Having a report that would allow me to say: IF (X and Y) ELSE (A or B) would be fantastic. That is a small use case example, but the implications would be much more value for anwhere you use logic to create something: reports (regular and data designer), filters, rules, queries, programs you name it. And to be clear, I’m talking about adding this in addition to case logic for formula and conditional fields.
Rule Schedule Matrix ViewResponse from Customer
Something that I've created and found to be useful is a schedule matrix for all recurring rules and uploads. This way, I am able to know when I have a lot of rules scheduled and when the system has some 'free time' where nothing is running. It also allows me to make sure I upload any relevant data before any rule that might use said data triggers. Success plan copy featureResponse from Customer
Hey Product team,I would like to formally request for a copy feature for the objective within success plan. I was part of the success plan beta testing and did not see this feature. However I have discussed this enhancement previously and thought it would have been added to the new success plan. USE CASE: We do a new success plan every year with annual goals are clients are working on. This helps us understand what our clients are working for the year and how to direct our marketing, product, etc. efforts for the year.
