Ability to disable the aggregation and set expand/collapse default using Row Grouping in HA reportsIN DEVELOPMENT
Two things on Row Grouping settings:1st - When using Row Grouping on a field to have the ability to disable the aggregation/totals on the group row. As an example the data is pointless and confusing as we use Booleans - 3 true and 4 false always shows 7… very misleading 2nd - As an admin I would like the option to default if a Row Grouping report is expanded or collapsed by default. It would be my guess that others would like this feature as well for reports that list items (think Whitespace)Thanks,DB
Restrict/Manage Report Builder PermissionsIN DEVELOPMENT
We want to grant permissions to some of our CSM team to be able to view and create reports in Report Builder, [url=https://support.gainsight.com/Product_Documentation/Reports_and_Dashboards/Admin_Configuration/Grant_Permission_to_Create_Reports]using this approach[/url], so that the admins don't always have to be asked to pull reports for them. I was hoping to be able to manage the repository by only allowing these users access to certain folders. For example, we have many reports that exist on dashboards and the 360, that we don't want these users to make changes to. It would be nice if they could have "permission" to only view/create reports within a specific folder in the repository so that the entire repository wouldn't be flooded. Is this something that is currently possible? If not, any plans for further granularity when it comes to allowing access to Report Builder?
Can't sort person section in C360IN DEVELOPMENT
Are there plans to be able to sort on the Person section in the C360? Right now, you can't, and it's keeping a customer from switching to the Person section being the source of truth because it's not as easy to navigate as the SFDC contacts related list in the C360. Is this something we're looking into fixing?
Global filters on the Person Section of the 360.IN DEVELOPMENT
Currently I am having trouble filtering contacts who may no longer be active Contacts have switched companies or are just not relevant to Gainsight. Some accounts have over 100 Contacts so we need a way to create global filters on the Person section like we can with a report that shows up in the 360. Either based on certain roles or other criteria we could manage.
We admins need a single document that contains all the known limitations (and instructions for how to increase, if applicable) within Gainsight’s platform. I know @sdrostgainsightcom and I pushed for this a few months ago when I was still at Gainsight, and I think it’s just as relevant as ever. For example, A Data Design can only contain 50 fields (but if you need more, contact support). A Rule can only contain a maximum of 15 total tasks. A Dashboard is capped at 20 (maybe 25? - see, this is why we need this...) reports. And so on. This would be so massively helpful and would almost certainly deflect countless hours of tickets/questions from Gainsight’s support and CS teams, respectively. Please consider prioritizing this.
Ability to Use S3 Datasets in Program Query BuilderIN DEVELOPMENT
It would be very nice if admins could create and use S3 datasets when building Program participant sources with the Query Builder tool. Alternatively, if there was the option of create PowerLists from Bionic Rules, that would also be very helpful!
Funnel ChartIN DEVELOPMENT
I would love the ability to visualize data in a funnel chart. This would be for visualizing our "On-boarding Pipeline" all of the opportunities in our onboarding lifecycle stages (pending, training scheduled, training complete, on-hold). This is a key part of our executive and management dashboard and I feel that the funnel chart is the best option for displaying this type of data. Ideally this option would also allow you to select the order of the stages in the pipeline. It would not be helpful for this to be organized alphabetically, or asc/desc by record count. Increase clarity of Report Name in DashboardsIN DEVELOPMENT
Improve the readability and clarity of the Report name in Dashboards, especially for Reports taking up smaller spaces, such as Widgets. Here’s an example of the Report Name being cut off when 3 widgets are added to a Dashboard. Yes….if you mouse over the Report Name, the full Report Name will appear as a pop-up. However, the basic use case for a Dashboard is fast scanning. Having to mouse over elements just to see Titles runs counter to the basic use case of a Dashboard.
Info Toggle Reporting WidgetsIN DEVELOPMENT
Hi we build out complex dashboards for our field and leaders with data designer. With those we often build FAQ’s to help them understand how to read trending, heat maps, etc. It would be great to have an info button on the widget themselves so they don’t have to navigate back and forth between the dashboard and the FAQ
I think a funnel chart would accomplish this but currently I am unable to create a stacked chart with a 1:1 (show me/by) that gives me all the data in one column. The by field always breaks out the columns. The only way to get close to this is to put another field in the by section that is in common with all records like a date set to show yearly, monthly, etc. The problem is when I add the date field if it spans over two years and I want to display it all in one column I am never able to do this. It would be nice to just allow me to use a 1:1 with show me /by fields and decide if I want it all in one column stacked chart or more columns. C360: Give Admin control to remove Companies and Relationships boxes on Person sectionIN DEVELOPMENT
In the Person section Detail View, the Companies and Relationships boxes take up too much real estate, causing end users to have to scroll down to see more detail. Admins should have control over where (or even IF) those boxes appear. (We don’t use relationships so the relationships box is just a nuisance)

We are curious if there is going to be an option to edit the size of the text in a widget to allow the entire title to show in the Summary section. People Maps Active vs. Inactive contactsIN DEVELOPMENT
Hello Amigos,I was shocked to see this to be an enhancement. Currently in the GS NXT version, the people maps search list includes both active and inactive contacts from the company person table. Which is odd cause we would not want to build an org chart from inactive clients. Bi-directional syncing of contactsIN DEVELOPMENT
Hi We would like the ability to add new contacts and update existing contacts in Gainsight, and to push the new/updated information into Salesforce. CS owns contacts post-sale; having accurate contact information and an efficient contact update process is critical for the org. Thank you.
I was making a short video for support to demonstrate a problem when adding a new field in Data Designer, and I wanted to add a field I actually needed. It took me about 90 seconds to click through all of the “show more fields” to find the look up, more “show more fields”, find the other lookup and then get to the field I want. I only went a couple layers deep, and I knew exactly where I was going so it isn’t like there was much durdling around. I realize there is a search, and had I known the exact name of the field that would have been great. I’m not sure what a good proposed solution is, but it would be great if the navigation would more condusive to quicker navigation. Maybe all of the expandable lookups always appear at the top when something is expanded? That would probably be helpful. If visually you could see what layer you are on, if you could search for the lookup you want, but see all of the fields in that lookup instead of just results matching your search, that would also
Currently, in Connectors 2.0 for our User Sync job the upsert key box for User Id is grayed out and we are forced to select another option. Our Salesforce team uses firstname.lastname for user names and emails are firstname.lastname as well….so anytime someone gets married, we get a duplicate user in Gainsight. We’d like the option to use the User ID as the upsert key, so any name changes would flow through seamlessly.
Hi Team, Posting this on behalf of our customer. When we turn on people maps in a org and click on contacts in C360, people map is the default view. It would be great if we provide a feasibility to toggle between the views and if we can't we would like to keep contact as the default view when a CSM clicks on Contact.
Handling usernames in Sandbox copy.IN DEVELOPMENT
Hi Team, In prod users have usernames like "firstname.lastname@example.org” But in sandbox they have usernames like "email@example.com" or appended with a keyword.So when a Sandbox copy is done all the usernames in prod are loaded into Sandbox causing duplicates and all of these should be made either Inactive or usernames should be updated with “.dev”It will be great if this is handled in the product too which will be very helpful to the users during sandbox Copy. Make Sticky Filter in Data Operation Screen > RefreshIN DEVELOPMENT
Hi Team, When we click the Refresh button, the applied filters are removed and all records are shown on the Data Operation page. Currently, we are not currently preserving the filters as per the support article. Customer is looking to get the filtered data, upon clicking on the refresh as well. Exposing User APIsIN DEVELOPMENT
Hi Team, Creating this request on customer’s behalf. Use case: When customer is creating users via APIs the users are created as case insensitive records, where as when we build a rule or update the username or emails they are converted to lower case automatically. This API user creation will have downstream impacts since many application areas inside gainsight work with case sensitive data. I request you to fulfil this product gap and expose user APIs for customer use so that there wouldn’t any issues like mentioned above. Regards,Jagadeesh
