Include the opportunity id in the export file of Renewal CenterWorkaround Available
Hi Team,Customer has the use case that a Sales Manager could go into the Renewal Center and be able to download and compare with data from other systems of operation. Currently, we are not including the field: ”Opportunity ID” as part of exportable reports from the Renewal Center. Can you please look into this and include this field in the export file from the table view.Thank you.
GS Assist for Outlook - Log to Timeline StatusWorkaround Available
This was a request from one of my end users and I don’t see this functionality but it would be super useful. Basically, what I would like to see is something similar to the timeline log status that you can get in Gmail/Chrome, but in outlook: As far as I can tell, right now you need GS assist open and the email in question open to see if it is logged, but there’s no way to look at a folder in outlook and quickly see what has/hasn’t been logged. P.S. if this is currently possible please show me the way.
GS Asset Usage Tracking Object - New field requestsWorkaround Available
I love the addition of this object for horizon analytics. One thing that would make a massive improvement on it is the inclusion of some kind of Active boolean field. Essentially, I have a few reports based on this object that look at stale assets. What I’m now running into is that when a report or dashboard is deleted, it’s record still persists. This is fine, but now they’re showing up on my stale asset list because no one has used them which is obvious as they have been deleted. I can filter them out manually, but that gets really clunky, especially if I’m filtering on asset name on a report level, but have an asset name global filter on a dashboard - that could potentially get me undesired results. If assets were marked as Active = false when they were deleted, it would be an easy filter add to reports where you only wanted to look at usage for active assets. This would also allow you to retain some historical data for deleted assets.
Low Volume MDA object on C360 - Person Lookup fields show the Person's ID rather than their nameWorkaround Available
I’ve setup a C360 section based on a custom Low Volume object. I’ve added various fields to be filled out including a few Person lookups. I have discovered that you are able to search by the person’s name when creating records, but when you save the record it will then only display the Person’s GSID. Field config: Create record view: Edit/View record view: This seems like it would be pretty basic functionality to use Person lookups in Low Volume object. Has anyone else ran into this issue before? If so, did you find a workaround outside of loading over the name via the Rules Engine?

Hello Team, The Find String functionality is a must needed feature. For example, please refer to the below strings. I would like to get the first part of the string from the first letter till "-”. From “CUSTOMER SUCCESS - CUSTOMER CARE TAM” I would like to extract “CUSTOMER SUCCESS”. From "CUSTOMER SUCCESS MGMT - PSM” I would like to extract “CUSTOMER SUCCESS MGMT”. There is no way to achieve this using the Gainsight String Formulas. Support usage of tokens in Email templates directly by using HTML codeWorkaround Available
Hi team, Posting this request on behalf of a customer.We have given the feasibility to customer to create their Email template directly by using HTML code.However it is currently not possible to directly create tokens within the Email template by using HTML code. Transformation step for the Salesforce ConnectorWorkaround Available
In the Salesforce Connector 2.0 I can only use source and target, it would be nice to have a transformation step as well where minor corrections can be made. For instance adding case fields or additional filters.We have this option in the “Freshdesk” connector where I use a transformation step to translate the built in Priority names in Freshdesk to our reporting standard P1-P5

Hi Team, Customer is trying to export the success snapshot for data points enabled report where the report isn’t looking quite good since the data point values are overlapped. Also there’s no option to change the size of the data point font
Data Designer Date Filter by Fiscal YearWorkaround Available
In Data Designer, you can filter by Calendar Year and Quarter but not Fiscal. This would be great to have by Fiscal as we have our FY from 2/1 - 1/31 instead of calendar. In reporting, this can be done on FY so would be great to have this in DD filtering as well
Scorecard - Increase Character Limit on Grade SchemaWorkaround Available
Currently GS has never handled scorecard for color blind people very well. Multiple ideas have been thrown around. However, if the character limit for the Grade schema could be increased from 2 this would solve the use case. This would give you Colored Text Note, I got the full word Green in there by adjusting the HTML code. Obviously not something that should be done. But, I was just testing to see if it was possible and what would happen. It seems like the 2 character character limit is just some hard coded limitation that can be adjusted and then this would be a huge solve for it.
Horizon Analytics - Allow to embed Gainsight SurveysWorkaround Available
With the new embed tool, we can embed URLs to a Google form but it would be more helpful if I could imbed a survey I created in Gainsight. That way I can get feedback from CSMs as we roll this out and not have to rely on them logging into Google etc, and the information is better recorded in an object
Allow Direct Rule Notifications to include link through SalesforceWorkaround Available
We’re on NXT but we require users to login via SFDC, including Admins.Would be a timesaver to allow us to change the Direct Rule Link in failure notification emails to the SFDC Login path, because today it is linked only to the NXT path:
Gainsight Sally Enhancement RequestWorkaround Available
Currently the Gainsight Sally feature is only available to those that have a full Gainsight license. It would be useful for the integration with Slack to allow Gainsight Sally to work in other slack channels where not all slack users have a full Gainsight license so others within the organization could see specific details on a company if someone with a full license posts something in the channel.Ie: People with a full license could create a CTA while also providing visibility to others who do not.

It would be really helpful to have an option to exclude from a join. This is intended for “exceptions”. Right now, I have to do a full left join and then a transform to get this. It would be great to be able to do this in one step. SQL example:select * from TABLE_1where Unique_ID is not in(select Unique_ID from TABLE_2)
Notification of non deliveryWorkaround Available
HiMy team use a lot of email templates in playbooks, however if the email goes to a customer with an incorrect email address we don’t get a non delivery from the customer through Gainsight. This could cause problem if we are trying to send them something important but it doesn’t reach them, we would never know about it. ThanksSonia
Ability to change/ add the email template in an active programWorkaround Available
I understand that once a Program is launched you cannot change Participants, steps in the Program, such factors. However, you SHOULD be able to change the Email Templates that are being used in any future outreach in an Active Program at any time prior to the send date/time.
Allowing Rich Text Fields in the Filters in Rules Engine, JO Query BuilderWorkaround Available
I do not know wny are we not allowing Rich Text fields in Filter conditions in Rules Engine, JO Query Builder, Data Designer features. I think this is required to achieve the below sample use-cases:Use-case 1:We are sending a NPS Survey to Customers. If we receive any comments, we would like to create CTA. If not, we would like to automate “Thank you” email using JO. Use-case 2:We are trying to push the Scorecard Comments from Scorecard to another place in salesforce. We would like to retain most recent comments. If anyone removed comments, we should not push NULL to Salesforce. In these cases, it will be helpful. alternatively we can build an extra MDA Object(As we are als onot allowing to create new fields in NPS Survey Responses Object) but it requires another extra rule to push the data from original object. This will become a complex process for these simple use-cases.
Rule Concatenation - add commas or spacesWorkaround Available
When you concatenate in a rule right now, it makes it one long string. When combining multiple fields you often want to have a space or a comma to make it a list. It would be great to be able to add spaces or commas between the fields that get concatenated
Exporting CSV files from report builder in different locale other than USWorkaround Available
Hi team, One customer requested for exporting CSV files in user locale. Currently we are exporting the CSV file based on US locale. However, if the user is using different locale, for example shown in google sheets the data exported would look totally different deviating from the expected export data:Please consider this enhancement to provide the user to chose or select different locales for exporting the data from gainsight.
Classify internal attendees for timelines logged through chrome/outlook pluginWorkaround Available
Hi Team, I am creating this on behalf of one of our customers.For BCC to timeline feature, when we add users present in MDA user object or the users of same domain, those users are automatically classified as internal attendees when timelines were created in Gainsight.It would be great if you could implement the same functionality for emails logged using chrome/outlook plugins as well. Allow option to update S3 dataset task configuration without editingWorkaround Available
I’m glad we allow editing of S3 dataset tasks, but I’d like to see us take it a step further and allow the option to edit the configuration without needing to have a file in the S3 bucket. It gets very tedious to have to upload a sample file, then delete it just to make a small change in the configuration.
