New HA Expand All/Collapse All not usable in current statePartially Fixed
I was SO excited to see the new “Expand All/Collapse All” configuration available in Horizon Analytics reporting, as it used to be available in the legacy reporting. However, I was very disappointed to find that the functionality as it exists today is not usable. For example, we have a report of Products Purchased on the C360. Given our organization, our customers purchase varying products for schools in their district. A large district could have many, many records on this report. The master report that I connect to the Related List will have 1000+ records, easily.The current functionality of Expand All/Collapse All limits records returned in the report not only in Report Builder but also in the related list reports. This means, that when I turn “on” Expand All/Collapse All functionality for a report that has 1000+ records on the report (which, any report I make into a Related List on the C360 will be, as it’s not filtered because the C360 filters it for me) it excludes data, both in
Automatic Rule Deactivation Notifications from GainsightPartially Fixed
I just discovered that Gainsight automatically turns off your rules after they’ve failed a certain amount of times. Not sure where/when this was communicated, but my bad for not knowing.At any rate, we had an integration outage and I received tons of failure emails, and these notifications got lost in the midst. Instead of, or in addition to these emails, can the deactivation alerts be a PX popup engagement when admins log in? One little email doesn’t seem to be sufficient for this type of automatic action - if your rules are getting deactivated without your intervention, GS needs to blast people about it.
Company names NOT be hyperlinked or blue clickable but rather be like a text format in report sharesPartially Fixed
Please have a look at this : when we share a report the users are expecting that the link can be clicked, because of the blue clickable hyperlink and they are expecting that it would navigate to that particular company which is not the case.so we have a request from the user that the company names NOT be hyperlinked but rather be like a text format so that there will be no confusion and users do not think something is broken.
Sort Cockpit view by one or more criteriaPartially Fixed
As a CSM, I need to be able to sort the Cockpit view by one or more criteria e..g. Due Date and Priority, Client Name and Priority, Client Name and Due Date, etcAt the moment, it is only possible sort based on a single criteria which is limiting. I believe this capability was available before the current version was released and I'd like to see if re-implemented.
User license assignment via rules enginePartially Fixed
Please allow license assignment via rules engine for unlicensed user records .Mass license assignment works good from user management screen but when there is a request to assign more than 10 users it becomes manual and time consuming that is prone to errors or miss outs.We have a use case where one of the profile having 300 assigned users out of which 80 users to be assigned as viewer license is adding complexity to admin management. If we have rules to perform the license type change could easily help us place the file in S3 and map the license type change for needed users.Glad to know if there are other options that I am missing.
CS : Create IAM roles in S3 EnvironmentPartially Fixed
Hi Team, Lot of data analyst who are working with our clients are looking to setup IAM roles. They are working on a data integration pipeline from Snowflake to the Gainsight S3 bucket. Snowflake has native functionality to connect to S3, but their best practice is to create an IAM role and use those credentials to connect to S3 instead of using the Secret Key and Access Key credentials.Is it possible to add in our near term roadmap? Restrict the ability to Edit details in AE for Viewer Users( Custom Permission Group)Partially Fixed
Hey Team, We have noticed that when we assign Custom Viewer Permission Group to Viewer Lisense Type Users. They are able to change the name of the Layout or Global Permissions for Adoption explorer layout( AE:: Analysis page). Can we restrict this to make sure discrepancies that can be caused due to changes on the same?
Is it possible to add R360 activities to the 'select types' filter on C360 timeline. We enabled R360 timeline entries to roll up to C360. Our CSMs would like the ability to filter on R360 activities via C360 timeline. Hope that makes sense?! A multi-select filtering option on the C360 Timeline (similar to the current Activity type filter) for visibility into Relationship-level Timeline entries could be really cool
Ability to bulk reset bounced emailsPartially Fixed
Journey orchestrator is super powerful, however there are a number of emails that once they bounce on send they are blacklisted for eternity and won’t even enter the program distribution if it had previously bounced. You can remove the email from the blacklist but it has to be done for every invidiual email … and it is tedious. Often times I have found that if I remove them and resend they no longer bounce. And some of the bounces make no sense as other tools have no problem delivering to those addresses. I would be great if you could 1. pull a dynamic list of all customers on the black list, select the ones you want to unblock and remove them.
BCC to Timeline Feature - contact on multiple accountsPartially Fixed
There should be a way to set up a rule to allow emails from BCC to timeline from specific users be associated with specific accounts. This way if there is one contact associated with multiple accounts, it will map to the proper account depending on the sender.
What to do with old CTA TypesPartially Fixed
I am in the process of trying to clean up the CTA Types and Reasons for my current environment - an environment I inherited that was terribly configured. Struggling with the fact that I cannot change CTA Types on existing CTAs (and according to Support, Gainsight can’t either) I cannot disable a CTA Type if it’s in use by existing CTAs My only option appears to be to delete the CTAs that use the type I want to eliminate - but I discovered that if I delete a CTA that had an email associated with it, the email gets deleted from Timeline as well. So basically, can Gainsight suggest a way to retire old CTA Types so that end users do not continue to use them?
Field dependencies not working on GainsightPartially Fixed
Hi, One of our customers has reported that field dependencies that were created in Salesforce are not working on Gainsight. For example, when we select a value in a picklist, all the values are showing up in the dependent picklist instead of selected ones. Please share your thoughts on this.
Renewal Center - Improve ease of access to specific renewalsPartially Fixed
It would be great if opportunities could be searched via the Gainsight search field or via a dedicated field in Renewal Center. Background: Our Customer Renewal & Growth Manager has found that when she finds a renewal opportunity that she would like to update, she would prefer to do so via renewal center, rather than Salesforce to avoid the delay in syncing the changes. Unfortunately, when this comes up, it usually means that she would have to change or remove the filters she had been using previously in order to find the opp in the forecast view and edit it.
It would be great to look up to Company object or other MDA objects from datasets created in Data Designer. We have a dashboard that displays reports from a created dataset that includes company ID, but it does not look up to any MDA so the global filter that works on reports on standard datasets does not work on those reports. It is a little clunky - users use the global filter and then on a couple reports have to do a search.
Company Intelligence - Create CTA function to limit creation of additional CTA for the same CompanyPartially Fixed
The Company Intelligence feature is great! We’ve started to get some alerts on activity for our larger accounts that we can start to take action on. The Create CTA function is great addition to be able to quickly create a CTA from Slack based on Company Intelligence. I noticed that it warns you if you are trying to create a CTA from an alert that has already had a CTA created for. I’d like to see that expanded to warn you if there is an existing CTA for the same company based on the same signal and CTA Type. Since the alerts for Company Intelligence come in from different sources it can be difficult to determine via Slack if there is a CTA for the Company in question for that same subject. For example, if Company Intelligence provides an alert today for Company X and we create a CTA, then tomorrow Company Intelligence provides a similar alert (because a different web source published the same information) we can’t easily tell that we’ve already created a CTA for this same event.
Standard field (e.g Comments) in Person object from admin c360 layouts can not be removed and it does not prompt when someone tries removing it. Should it?Partially Fixed
I worked with a customer who has exactly posted the query like this: ‘In the company admin c360 layouts for the person field and the field/values shown. I'm trying to remove the "Comments" one from the "DETAIL VIEW". I can select "Comments" and delete it and save the change but when I go back in, "Comments" is added back at the top.’ Further investigation showed that standard and system fields cannot be removed. Customer wanted to know why does it allow removing field without a prompt that because of this (system or standard) field type this cannot be removed.
Column width setting in Mass Edit reportPartially Fixed
We have ability to change the size of the columns for Mass edit reports but these are not Sticky. Once page is refreshed the Columns are reset to their original size, Can we save the Column widths of Mass edit reports and when they are used in Dashboards too.
Email notification when exporting more than 100k records.Partially Fixed
Currently when exporting to a CSV from report builder there is a hard limit of 100k records where the export won’t process if you’re trying to export more than that. The workaround is exporting it to an S3 bucket. Currently there is no notification/email saying that you’re trying to export more than 100k records. It would be nice to have that type of functionality in the future.
Allow in use CTA Reasons to be deactivatedPartially Fixed
There is currently an "Active" checkbox for CTA Reasons, however once the reason has been applied to a CTA it cannot be disabled. It would be great for this checkbox to allow for the reason to show/not show when creating a CTA. [b]The problem:[/b] When implementing Gainsight we didn't fully map out all CTA Types and associated Reasons. Now we have a long list of irrelevant Reasons available to 'All' CTA Types. This makes reporting difficult and the end user experience poor as there are too many options, many of which are irrelevant for the CTA Type selected. I've also been looking into Mass Edit, however there is no way to update the CTA Types on existing CTA's, so I cannot align types/reasons as needed.
Timeline feedbackPartially Fixed
Customers love Timeline and want to make it meatier, juicier and easy to use. Here are some great feedback I recieved from one of our customers: 1. [b]Custom filter options in Timeline[/b]: Right now, it is restricted to a few. But what if the customer wants to look at the all the updates of type risks where the exec sponsor was present. What if the customer wants to see EBRs that happened onsite? What about the EBRs that have red sentiment? All this is possible now using reports but given that each layout is different, we are looking for a cumbersome option when it comes to creating 20+ reports out of the possible permutations. 2. [b]No easy way to know the activity as it relates to a certain contact[/b]: Say Kyle is a contact and you want to know if Kyle was present in an EBR, last cadence call and was copied in an email? What if you click on Kyle in the external attendee option and know how engaged Kyle has been with your team?
It would be helpful to add the ability to update the due dates of the dependent tasks once the main/parent task due date is changed or moved over and also to allow see the [b]baseline [/b]in Gantt chart view to allow see how the project is doing (internal and external visibility available)
Show MDA Dependencies By FieldPartially Fixed
Could we add an option to view dependencies in MDA by Field? For example, if a specific field has dependencies, I have to search through all of the dependency categories until I find where the field is identified. If we could add a category that grouped the dependencies by what field they are associated with, that would be really helpful.
