"Uncheck" The BCC Checkbox for Email Assist

I have noticed that we've recently released a new feature allowing users to BCC when using email assist.
The issue is that the box appears to be checked by default. The customer would like the ability to have this checkbox be selected/not selected by default. Currently its selected as on by default and the customer would like the ability to turn it off.

Currently there's no way to uncheck the box by default. By what we heard from many CSMs is that they want themself to be added to the mails that are being sent from Email Assist, hence by default its checked.
Would the Customer want to hide the Option from Email Assist?
