Send out program emails at will.

Posting on behalf of customer.

Currently programs are scheduled to send out emails at predetermined intervals. Customer is asking for the ability to send out emails manually from the program config instead of waiting the x number of days before sending them out.

An example would be: Next email in program is scheduled to be sent out 3 days from today but customer would like the ability to send out the email that would be sent out 3 days from now today instead.

@andrew_biehle Do they want to send out the email to everyone who is eligible, or manually send them out on a per-recipient basis?

From my understanding they’d like both options.

@andrew_biehle Would creating a CTA with an email task help in this situation? Users will be in control of sending the emails then.

To send the reminder email to every one whoever is eligible.

It would be great if we have both options.

There are two asks here:

  1. Need to send the customer basis requirement (need to send the first reminder survey after 4 days from the rollout date & send the second/Final reminder after 15 days from the rollout date)
  2. The email subject should be customized accordingly: The initial survey rollout email subject named as “Gainsight Survey”. After 4 days the email subject for the first reminder should be “First Reminder - Gainsight Survey”. After 15 days the email subject for the 2nd (Final) reminder to be sent as “Final Reminder - Gainsight Survey”

The email body template will remain as is for both initial survey & for the reminders.

Got it, thanks. We will look into it.
